Psalms 27:4-12
41One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek: That I may 2dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, To behold 3the 4beauty of the Lord And to 56meditate in His temple.5For on the 7day of trouble He will 8conceal me in His 9tabernacle; He will 10hide me in the secret place of His tent; He will 11lift me up on a rock.6And now 12my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me, And I will offer 13sacrifices in His tent 14with shouts of joy; I will 15sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.
716Hear, Lord, when I cry with my voice, And be gracious to me and 17answer me.8When You said, “18Seek My face,” my heart said to You, “19I shall seek Your face, Lord.”920Do not hide Your face from me, Do not turn Your servant away in 21anger; You have been 22my help; 23Do not abandon me nor 24forsake me, God of my salvation!1025For my father and 26my mother have forsaken me, But 27the Lord will take me up.
1128Teach me Your way, Lord, And lead me on a 29level path Because of my enemies.12Do not turn me over to the 3031desire of my enemies, For 32false witnesses have risen against me, And the violent 33witness.
