Psalms 2:2-9

2The 1kings of the earth take their stand And the rulers conspire together 2Against the Lord and against His 34Anointed, saying,3“Let’s 5tear their shackles apart And throw their ropes away from us!”

4He who 6sits in the heavens 7laughs, The Lord 8scoffs at them.5Then He will speak to them in His 9anger And 10terrify them in His fury, saying,6“But as for Me, I have installed 11My King Upon Zion, 12My holy mountain.”

7“I will announce the 13decree of the Lord: He said to Me, ‘You are 14My Son, Today I have fathered You.8Ask it of Me, and 15I will certainly give 16the 17nations as Your inheritance, And the 18ends of the earth as Your possession.9You shall 1920break them with a 21rod of iron, You shall 22shatter them like 23earthenware.’”
