Psalms 119:3-125

3They also 1do no injustice; They walk in His ways.4You have 23ordained Your precepts, 4That we are to keep them diligently.5Oh that my 5ways may be established To 6keep Your statutes!6Then I 7will not be ashamed When I look at all Your commandments.7I will 8give thanks to You with uprightness of heart, When I learn Your righteous judgments.8I will keep Your statutes; Do not utterly 9abandon me!

9How can a young man keep his way pure? By 10keeping it according to Your word.10With 11all my heart I have sought You; Do not let me 12wander from Your commandments.11I have 13treasured Your word in my heart, So that I may not sin against You.12Blessed are You, Lord; 14Teach me Your statutes.13With my lips I have 15told of All the 16ordinances of Your mouth.14I have 17rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, 18As much as in all riches.15I will 19meditate on Your precepts And 20regard 21Your ways.16I shall 2223delight in Your statutes; I will 24not forget Your word.

1725Deal generously with Your servant, That I may live and keep Your word.18Open my eyes, that I may behold Wonderful things from Your Law.19I am a 26stranger on the earth; Do not hide Your commandments from me.20My soul is crushed 2728with longing For Your ordinances at all times.21You 29rebuke the arrogant, 30the 31cursed, Who 32wander from Your commandments.2233Take disgrace and contempt away from me, For I 34comply with Your testimonies.23Even though 35rulers sit and speak against me, Your servant 36meditates on Your statutes.24Your testimonies also are my 37delight; They are 38my advisers.

25My 39soul clings to the dust; 40Revive me 41according to Your word.26I have told of my ways, and You have answered me; 42Teach me Your statutes.27Make me understand the way of Your precepts, And I will 43meditate on Your wonders.28My 44soul 45weeps because of grief; 46Strengthen me according to Your word.29Remove the false way from me, And graciously grant me Your Law.30I have chosen the faithful way; I have 47placed Your judgments before me.31I 48cling to Your testimonies; Lord, do not put me to shame!32I shall run the way of Your commandments, For You will 49enlarge my heart.

3350Teach me, the way of Your statutes, Lord, And I shall comply with it to the end.3451Give me understanding, so that I may 52comply with Your Law And keep it 53with all my heart.35Make me walk in the 54path of Your commandments, For I 55delight in it.3656Incline my heart to Your testimonies, And not to 57dishonest gain.37Turn my 58eyes away from looking at what is worthless, And 59revive me in Your ways.3860Establish Your 61word to Your servant 62As that which produces reverence for You.3963Take away my disgrace which I dread, For Your judgments are good.40Behold, I 64long for Your precepts; Revive me through Your righteousness.

41May Your 65favor also come to me, Lord, Your salvation 66according to Your 67word;42So that I will have an 68answer for one who 69taunts me, For I trust in Your word.43And do not take the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, For I 7071wait for Your judgments.44So I will 72keep Your Law continually, Forever and ever.45And I will 73walk 74at liberty, For I 75seek Your precepts.46I will also speak of Your testimonies 76before kings And shall not be ashamed.47I will 77delight in Your commandments, Which I 78love.48And I shall lift up my hands to Your commandments, Which I 79love; And I will 80meditate on Your statutes.

49Remember the word to Your servant, 81In which You have made me hope.50This is my 82comfort in my misery, That Your word has 83revived me.51The arrogant 84utterly deride me, Yet I do not 85turn aside from Your Law.52I have 86remembered Your judgments from 87of old, Lord, And comfort myself.53Burning 88indignation has seized me because of the wicked, Who 89abandon Your Law.54Your statutes are my songs In the house of my 90pilgrimage.55Lord, I 91remember Your name 92in the night, And keep Your Law.56This has become mine, 93That I 94comply with Your precepts.

57The Lord is my 95portion; I have 96promised to 97keep Your words.58I 98sought Your favor 99with all my heart; 100Be gracious to me 101according to Your 102word.59I 103considered my ways And turned my feet to Your testimonies.60I hurried and did not delay To keep Your commandments.61The 104snares of the wicked have surrounded me, But I have 105not forgotten Your Law.62At 106midnight I will rise to give thanks to You Because of Your 107righteous judgments.63I am a 108companion to all those who 109fear You, And to those who keep Your precepts.64110The earth is full of Your goodness, Lord; 111Teach me Your statutes.

65You have treated Your servant well, Lord, according to Your word.66Teach me good 112113discernment and knowledge, For I believe in Your commandments.67114Before I was afflicted I went astray, But now I keep Your word.68You are 115good and You 116do good; 117Teach me Your statutes.69The arrogant 118have 119forged a lie against me; With all my heart I will 120comply with Your precepts.70Their heart is 121insensitive, like fat, But I 122delight in Your Law.71It is 123good for me that I was afflicted, So that I may learn Your statutes.72The 124Law of Your mouth is better to me Than thousands of gold and silver pieces.

73125Your hands made me and 126fashioned me; 127Give me understanding, so that I may learn Your commandments.74May those who 128fear You 129see me and be glad, Because I 130131wait for Your word.75I know, Lord, that Your judgments are 132righteous, And that You have afflicted me 133in faithfulness.76May Your favor 134comfort me, According to Your 135word to Your servant.77May 136Your compassion come to me so that I may live, For Your Law is my 137delight.78May 138the arrogant be put to shame, because they lead me astray 139with a lie; But I shall 140meditate on Your precepts.79May those who 141fear You turn to me, And those who know Your testimonies.80May my heart be 142143blameless in Your statutes, So that I will not 144be ashamed.

81My 145soul languishes for Your salvation; I 146147wait for Your word.82My 148eyes fail with longing for Your 149word, 150While I say, “When will You comfort me?”83Though I have 151become like a wineskin in the smoke, I do 152not forget Your statutes.84How many are the 153days of Your servant? When will You 154execute judgment on those who persecute me?85The arrogant have 155dug pits for me, People who are not in accord with Your Law.86All Your commandments are 156faithful; They have 157persecuted me with a lie; 158help me!87They almost destroyed me on earth, But as for me, I 159did not abandon Your precepts.88Revive me according to Your faithfulness, So that I may keep the testimony of Your mouth.

89160Forever, Lord, Your word stands in heaven.90Your 161faithfulness continues 162throughout generations; You 163established the earth, and it 164stands.91They stand this day by Your 165ordinances, For 166all things are Your servants.92If Your Law had not been my 167delight, Then I would have perished 168in my misery.93I will 169never forget Your precepts, For by them You have 170171revived me.94I am Yours, 172save me; For I have 173sought Your precepts.95The wicked 174wait for me to destroy me; I will diligently consider Your testimonies.96I have seen 175a limit to all perfection; Your commandment is exceedingly broad.

97How I 176love Your Law! It is my 177meditation all the day.98Your 178commandments make me wiser than my enemies, For they are ever 179mine.99I have more insight than all my teachers, For Your testimonies are my 180meditation.100I understand 181more than those who are old, Because I have 182complied with Your precepts.101I have 183restrained my feet from every evil way, So that I may keep Your word.102I have not 184turned aside from Your judgments, For You Yourself have taught me.103How 185sweet are Your 186words to my 187taste! Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth!104From Your precepts I 188get understanding; Therefore I 189hate every false way.

105Your word is a 190lamp to my feet And a light to my path.106I have 191sworn and I will confirm it, That I will keep Your righteous judgments.107I am exceedingly 192afflicted; 193194Revive me, Lord, according to Your word.108Be pleased to accept the 195196voluntary offerings of my mouth, Lord, And 197teach me Your judgments.109My 198199life is continually 200in my hand, Yet I do not 201forget Your Law.110The wicked have 202set a 203trap for me, Yet I have not 204wandered from Your precepts.111I have 205inherited Your testimonies forever, For they are the 206joy of my heart.112I have 207inclined my heart to perform Your statutes Forever, even 208to the end.

113I hate those who are 209double-minded, But I love Your 210Law.114You are my 211hiding place and my 212shield; I 213214wait for Your word.115215Leave me, you evildoers, So that I may 216comply with the commandments of my God.116217Sustain me according to Your 218word, that I may live; And 219do not let me be 220ashamed of my hope.117Sustain me so that I may be 221safe, That I may 222have regard for Your statutes continually.118You have 223rejected all those 224who stray from Your statutes, For their deceitfulness is 225useless.119You have 226removed all the wicked of the earth like 227228impurities; Therefore I 229love Your testimonies.120My flesh 230231trembles from the fear of You, And I am 232afraid of Your judgments.

121I have 233done justice and righteousness; Do not leave me to my oppressors.122Be 234a guarantor for Your servant for good; Do not let the arrogant 235oppress me.123My 236eyes fail with longing for Your salvation, And for Your righteous 237word.124Deal with Your servant 238according to Your graciousness, And 239teach me Your statutes.125240I am Your servant; 241give me understanding, So that I may know Your testimonies.
