Psalms 106:33-41

33Because they 1were rebellious against 2His Spirit, He spoke rashly with his lips.

34They 3did not destroy the peoples, As 4the Lord had commanded them,35But 5they got involved with the nations And learned their 6practices,36And 7served their idols, 8Which became a snare to them.37They even 9sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the 10demons,38And shed 11innocent blood, The blood of their 12sons and their daughters Whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; And the land was 13defiled with the blood.39So they became 14unclean in their 15practices, And 16 17were unfaithful in their deeds.

40Therefore the 18anger of the Lord was kindled against His people, And He 19loathed His 20 21inheritance.41So 22He handed them over to the 23nations, And those who hated them ruled over them.
