1But JesusG2424 wentG4198 to the mountG3735 of Olives. 2And early in the morning he cameG2064 againG3825 into the temple, and all the peopleG2992 cameG2064 to him; and he satG2523 downG2523 and taughtG1321 them. 3And the scribesG1122 and the PhariseesG5330 bringG71 [to him] a womanG1135 taken in adulteryG3430, and having setG2476 her in the midstG3319, 4they sayG3004 to him, TeacherG1320, this womanG1135 has been taken in the very act, committingG3431 adulteryG3431. 5NowG1161 in the lawG3551 MosesG3475 has commandedG1781 us to stone suchG5108; thou thereforeG3767, what sayest thou? 6But this they saidG3004 proving him, that they might have [something] to accuseG2723 him [of]. If I speakG3004 truthG225, whyG5101 do ye not believeG4100 me? 47He that isG1510 of 5GodG2316 hearsG191 the words of 6GodG2316: therefore ye hearG191 [them] not, because ye areG1510 not of 7GodG2316. 48The JewsG2453 answeredG611 and saidG3004 to him, SayG3004 we not wellG2573 that thou art a SamaritanG4541 and hast a demonG1140? 49JesusG2424 answeredG611, I have not a demonG1140; but I honour my FatherG3962, and ye dishonour me. 50But I do not seekG2212 my own gloryG1391: there isG1510 he that seeksG2212 and judgesG2919. 51Verily, verily, I sayG3004 unto you, If any oneG5100 shall keepG5083 my wordG3056, he shall never seeG2334 deathG2288. 52The JewsG2453 therefore saidG3004 to him, NowG3568 we knowG1097 that thou hast a demonG1140. AbrahamG11 has diedG599, and the prophetsG4396, and thou sayest, If any oneG5100 keepG5083 my wordG3056, he shall never tasteG1089 deathG2288. 53Art thou greaterG3173 than our fatherG3962 AbrahamG11, who has diedG599? and the prophetsG4396 have diedG599: whom makest thou thyself? 54JesusG2424 answeredG611, If I glorifyG1392 myself, my gloryG1391 isG1510 nothing: it isG1510 my FatherG3962 who glorifiesG1392 me, [of] whom ye sayG3004, He isG1510 our 8GodG2316. 55And ye knowG1097 him not; but I knowG1097 him; and if I saidG3004, I knowG1097 him not, I should beG1510 like you, a liarG5583. But I knowG1097 him, and I keepG5083 his wordG3056. 56Your fatherG3962 AbrahamG11 exultedG21 in that he should seeG3708 my dayG2250, and he sawG3708 and rejoicedG5463. 57The JewsG2453 thereforeG3767 saidG3004 to him, Thou hast not yet fiftyG4004 yearsG2094, and hast thou seenG3708 AbrahamG11? 58JesusG2424 saidG3004 to them, Verily, verily, I sayG3004 unto you, Before AbrahamG11 wasG1510, I amG1510. 59They tookG142 up thereforeG3767 stonesG3037 that they might castG906 [them] at him; but JesusG2424 hidG2928 himself and wentG1831 out of the temple, [goingG1831 through the midst of them, and thus passed on.]
