Jude 1
Darby Bible
1Jude, bondman of JesusG2424 ChristG5547, and brotherG80 of JamesG2385, to the calledG2822 ones belovedG25 in 1GodG2316 [the] FatherG3962 and preserved in JesusG2424 ChristG5547: 2MercyG1656 to you, and peaceG1515, and loveG26 be multipliedG4129. 3BelovedG27, using all diligenceG4710 to writeG1125 to you of our commonG2839 salvationG4991, I have been obliged to writeG1125 to you exhortingG3870 [you] to contend earnestly for the faithG4102 onceG530 deliveredG3860 to the saintsG40. 4For certainG5100 menG444 have got in unnoticed, they who of old were marked out beforehand to this sentence, ungodlyG765 [persons], turning the graceG5485 of our 2GodG2316 into dissoluteness, and denyingG720 our onlyG3441 MasterG2962 and LordG2962 JesusG2424 ChristG5547. 5But I would put you in remembranceG5279, you who onceG530 knew all thingsG3956, that the LordG2962, having savedG4982 a peopleG2992 out of [the] landG1093 of EgyptG125, in the secondG1208 place destroyedG622 those who had not believedG4100. 6And angelsG32 who had not keptG5083 their ownG2398 original state, but had abandoned their ownG2398 dwellingG3613, he keepsG5083 in eternalG126 chainsG1199 under gloomy darknessG2217, to [the] judgmentG2920 of [the] greatG3173 dayG2250; 7as SodomG4670 and Gomorrha, and the citiesG4172 around them, committing greedily fornication, in like manner with them, and goingG565 after otherG2087 fleshG4561, lie there as an example, undergoing the judgment of eternalG166 fireG4442. 8Yet in like manner these dreamers alsoG2532 defile [the] fleshG4561, and despise lordship, and speak railingly against dignities. 9But MichaelG3413 the archangelG743, whenG3753 disputing with the devilG1228 he reasonedG1256 about the bodyG4983 of MosesG3475, did not dareG5111 to bring a railing judgmentG2920 against [him], but saidG3004, [The] LordG2962 rebukeG2008 thee. 10But these, whatever thingsG3778 they know not, they speak railingly against; but what even, as the irrationalG249 animalsG2226, they understand by mere nature, in these thingsG3778 they corrupt themselves. 11WoeG3759 to them! because they have goneG4198 in the wayG3598 of CainG2535, and given themselves up to the errorG4106 of BalaamG903 for rewardG3408, and perishedG622 in the gainsaying of Core. 12These areG1510 spots in your love-feasts, feastingG4910 together [with you] without fearG870, pasturing themselves; cloudsG3507 without waterG504, carried along by [the] windsG417; autumnal treesG1186, without fruit, twiceG1364 deadG599, rooted up; 13raging waves of the seaG2281, foaming out their ownG1438 shames; wandering starsG792, to whom has been reserved the gloomG2217 of darknessG4655 for eternityG165. 14And EnochG1802, [the] seventhG1442 from AdamG76, prophesiedG4395 alsoG2532 as to these, sayingG3004, BeholdG2400, [the] LordG2962 has comeG2064 amidst his holyG40 myriadsG3461, 15to execute judgmentG2920 against all; and to convictG1651 all the ungodlyG765 of them of all their worksG2041 of ungodlinessG763, which they have wrought ungodlily, and of all the hardG4642 [thingsG3956] which ungodlyG765 sinnersG268 have spokenG2980 against him. 16These areG1510 murmurers, complainers, walkingG4198 after their lustsG1939; and their mouthG4750 speaksG2980 swelling words, admiring persons for the sake of profit. 17But ye, belovedG27, rememberG3403 the words spoken before by the apostlesG652 of our LordG2962 JesusG2424 ChristG5547, 18that they saidG3004 to you, that at [the] end of the timeG5550 there should beG1510 mockers, walkingG4198 after their ownG1438 lustsG1939 of ungodlinesses. 19These areG1510 they who set [themselves] apart, naturalG5591 [menG3778], not having [the] SpiritG4151. 20But ye, belovedG27, buildingG2026 yourselves up on your most holyG40 faithG4102, prayingG4336 in the HolyG40 SpiritG4151, 21keepG5083 yourselves in the loveG26 of 3GodG2316, awaiting the mercyG1656 of our LordG2962 JesusG2424 ChristG5547 unto eternalG166 lifeG2222. 22And of some have compassion, making a difference, 23but others saveG4982 with fearG5401, snatchingG726 [them] out of the fireG4442; hatingG3404 evenG2532 the garment spotted by the fleshG4561. 24But to him that is ableG1410 to keepG5442 you without stumbling, and to setG2476 [you] with exultation blamelessG299 before his gloryG1391, 25to the onlyG3441 4GodG2316 our Saviour, through JesusG2424 ChristG5547 our LordG2962, [be] gloryG1391, majestyG3172, might, and authorityG1849, from before the whole ageG165, and nowG3568, and to all the agesG165. AmenG281.
