27And at thisG3778 pointG1909 His 45disciplesG3101 cameG2064, and they were amazedG2296 that He had been speakingG2980 with a womanG1135, yetG3305 noG3762 oneG3762 saidG3004, “WhatG5101 are You seekingG2212?” orG2228, “WhyG5101 are You speakingG2980 with her?” 28SoG3767 the womanG1135 leftG863 her waterpotG5201 and wentG565 into the cityG4172, and saidG3004 to the peopleG444, 29“ComeG1205, seeG3708 a ManG444 46whoG3739 toldG3004 me allG3956 the thingsG3956 that I have doneG4160; 47thisG3778 is not the 48ChristG5547, is He?” 30They leftG1831 the cityG4172 and were comingG2064 to Him.

The Samaritans

39NowG1161 from 59that cityG4172 manyG4183 of the SamaritansG4541 believedG4100 in Him becauseG1223 of the wordG3056 of the womanG1135 who testifiedG3140, “60He toldG3004 me allG3956 the thingsG3956 that I have doneG4160.” 40SoG3767 whenG5613 the SamaritansG4541 cameG2064 to 61Jesus, they were askingG2065 Him to stayG3306 with them; and He stayedG3306 thereG1563 twoG1417 daysG2250. 41ManyG4183 moreG4183 believedG4100 becauseG1223 of His wordG3056; 42and they were sayingG3004 to the womanG1135, “It is noG3765 longerG3765 becauseG1223 of whatG2981 you saidG2981 that we believeG4100, for we have heardG191 for ourselvesG846 and knowG3609 that thisG3778 OneG3778 trulyG230 is 62the SaviorG4990 of the worldG2889.”

43And afterG3326 63the twoG1417 daysG2250, He departedG1831 fromG1564 thereG1564 for GalileeG1056. 44For JesusG2424 HimselfG846 testifiedG3140 that 64a prophetG4396 hasG2192 noG3756 honorG5092 in his ownG2398 countryG3968. 45SoG3767 whenG3753 He cameG2064 to GalileeG1056, the GalileansG1057 receivedG1209 Him, only because 65they had seenG3708 allG3956 the thingsG3956 that He didG4160 in JerusalemG2414 at the feastG1859; for they themselvesG846 alsoG2532 wentG2064 to the feastG1859.

Healing an Official’s Son

46ThereforeG3767 He cameG2064 againG3825 to 66CanaG2580 of GalileeG1056, 67whereG3699 He had madeG4160 the waterG5204 into wineG3631.
