The Incarnate Word

1WhatG3739 was 1from the beginningG746, whatG3739 we have 2heardG191, whatG3739 we have 3seenG3708 with our eyesG3788, whatG3739 we 4have lookedG2300 at and 5touchedG5584 with our handsG5495, concerningG4012 the 6WordG3056 of LifeG2222-- 2and 7the lifeG2222 was revealedG5319, and we have 8seenG3708 and 9testifyG3140 and proclaimG518 to you 10the eternalG166 lifeG2222, whichG3748 was 11with the FatherG3962 and was 12revealedG5319 to us-- 3whatG3739 we have 13seenG3708 and 14heardG191 we proclaimG518 to you alsoG2532, soG2443 thatG2443 you tooG2532 may haveG2192 fellowshipG2842 with us; and indeedG2532 our 15fellowshipG2842 is with the FatherG3962, and with His SonG5207 JesusG2424 ChristG5547. 416TheseG3778 thingsG3778 we writeG1125, soG2443 thatG2443 our 17joyG5479 may be madeG4137 completeG4137.

God Is Light

518ThisG3778 is the messageG31 we have heardG191 from Him and announceG312 to you, that 19GodG2316 is LightG5457, and in Him there is noG3756 darknessG4653 atG3762 allG3762. 620IfG1437 we sayG3004 that we haveG2192 fellowshipG2842 with Him and yet walkG4043 in the darknessG4655, we 21lieG5574 and 22do not practiceG4160 the truthG225; 7but ifG1437 we 23walkG4043 in the LightG5457 as 24He HimselfG846 is in the LightG5457, we haveG2192 fellowshipG2842 with oneG240 anotherG240, and 25the bloodG129 of JesusG2424 His SonG5207 cleansesG2511 us from allG3956 sinG266. 826IfG1437 we sayG3004 that we haveG2192 noG3756 sinG266, we are deceivingG4105 ourselvesG1438 and the 27truthG225 is not in us. 928IfG1437 we confessG3670 our sinsG266, He is faithfulG4103 and righteousG1342, soG2443 thatG2443 He will forgiveG863 us our sinsG266 and 29cleanseG2511 us from allG3956 unrighteousnessG93. 1030IfG1437 we sayG3004 that we have not sinnedG264, we 31makeG4160 Him a liarG5583 and 32His wordG3056 is not in us.
