16NowG1161 whenG5613 eveningG3798 cameG1096, His 18disciplesG3101 wentG2597 downG2597 to the seaG2281, 17and after gettingG1684 into a boatG4143, they started to crossG4008 the seaG2281 19to CapernaumG2746. It had alreadyG2235 becomeG1096 darkG4653, and JesusG2424 had not yetG3768 comeG2064 to them. 18The seaG2281 began to be stirredG1326 up because a strongG3173 windG417 was blowingG4154. 19ThenG3767, when they had rowedG1643 aboutG5613 20threeG1501G4002 orG2228 four milesG4712, they sawG2334 JesusG2424 walkingG4043 on the seaG2281 and drawingG1096 nearG1451 to the boatG4143; and they were frightenedG5399. 20But He saidG3004 to them, “It is I; 2122do not be afraidG5399.” 21SoG3767 they were willingG2309 to receiveG2983 Him into the boatG4143, and immediatelyG2112 the boatG4143 was at the landG1093 to whichG3739 they were goingG5217.

35JesusG2424 saidG3004 to them, “45I amG1510 the breadG740 of lifeG2222; he who comesG2064 to Me will not hungerG3983, and he who believesG4100 in Me 46will neverG3756G3361 thirstG1372. 36But 47I saidG3004 to you that you have seenG3708 Me, and yet do not believeG4100. 3748AllG3956 that the FatherG3962 givesG1325 Me will comeG2240 to Me, and the one who comesG2064 to Me I will certainlyG3756G3361 not castG1544 out. 38For 49I have comeG2597 downG2597 from heavenG3772, 50not to doG4160 My ownG1699 willG2307, but 51the willG2307 of Him who 52sentG3992 Me. 39ThisG3778 is the willG2307 of Him who sentG3992 Me, that of 53allG3956 that He has givenG1325 Me I 54loseG622 nothingG3361, but 55raiseG450 it up on the lastG2078 dayG2250. 40For thisG3778 is the willG2307 of My FatherG3962, that everyoneG3956 who 56beholdsG2334 the SonG5207 and 57believesG4100 in Him will haveG2192 eternalG166 lifeG2222, and I MyselfG1473 will 58raiseG450 him up on the lastG2078 dayG2250.”

4159ThereforeG3767 the JewsG2453 were grumblingG1111 aboutG4012 Him, becauseG3754 He saidG3004, “I amG1510 the breadG740 that 60cameG2597 downG2597 out of heavenG3772.” 42They were sayingG3004, “61Is not thisG3778 JesusG2424, the sonG5207 of JosephG2501, whoseG3739 fatherG3962 and motherG3384 62we knowG3609? 66As a resultG1537 of thisG3778 manyG4183 of His 106disciplesG3101 107withdrewG3694G565 and were not walkingG4043 with Him anymoreG3765. 67SoG3767 JesusG2424 saidG3004 to 108the twelveG1427, “You do not wantG2309 to goG5217 awayG5217 alsoG2532, do you?” 68109SimonG4613 PeterG4074 answeredG611 Him, “LordG2962, to whomG5101 shall we goG565?
