Darby Bible
1And Jehovah saidH559 to NoahH5146, GoH935 into the arkH8392, thou and all thy houseH1004; for thee have I seenH7200 righteousH6662 before me in this generationH1755. 2Of all cleanH2889 beasts thou shalt takeH3947 to thee by sevensH7651, a male and its female; but of the beasts that are not cleanH2889 twoH8147, a male and its female. 3AlsoH1571 of the fowl of the heavensH8064 by sevensH7651, maleH2145 and femaleH5347; to keep seedH2233 aliveH2421 on the faceH6440 of all the earthH776. 4For in yetH5750 sevenH7651 daysH3117 I will cause it to rainH4305 on the earthH776 fortyH705 daysH3117 and fortyH705 nightsH3915; and every living being which I have madeH6213 will I destroy from the groundH776. 5And NoahH5146 did according to all that Jehovah had commandedH6680 him. 6And NoahH5146 wasH1961 sixH8337 hundredH3967 yearsH8141 old when the floodH3999 of watersH4325 wasH1961 on the earthH776. 7And NoahH5146 wentH935 in, and his sonsH1121, and his wifeH802, and his sons' wivesH802 with him, into the arkH8392, because of the watersH4325 of the floodH3999. 8Of cleanH2889 beasts, and of beasts that are not cleanH2889, and of fowl, and of everythingH3605 that creepsH7430 on the groundH127, 9there cameH935 twoH8147 and twoH8147 unto NoahH5146 into the arkH8392, maleH2145 and femaleH5347, as 1GodH430 had commandedH6680 NoahH5146. 10And it came to pass after sevenH7651 daysH3117 that the watersH4325 of the floodH3999 wereH1961 on the earthH776. 11In the sixH8337 hundredth yearH8141 of Noah's life, in the secondH8145 monthH2320, on the seventeenth dayH3117 of the monthH2320, on that same dayH3117 all the fountains of the greatH7227 deepH8415 were brokenH1234 up, and the windowsH699 of heavenH8064 were openedH6605. 12And the pour of rainH1653 wasH1961 on the earthH776 fortyH705 daysH3117 and fortyH705 nightsH3915. 13On the same dayH3117 wentH935 NoahH5146, and ShemH8035 and HamH2526 and JaphethH3315, the sonsH1121 of NoahH5146, and Noah's wifeH802, and the threeH7969 wivesH802 of his sonsH1121 with them, into the arkH8392; 14they, and every beast after its kindH4327, and all the cattleH929 after their kindH4327, and every creepingH7431 thingH7431 that creepsH7430 on the earthH776 after its kindH4327, and all fowl after its kindH4327 — every birdH6833 of every wingH3671. 15And they wentH935 to NoahH5146, into the arkH8392, twoH8147 and twoH8147 of all fleshH1320, in which was the breathH7307 of lifeH2416. 16And they that cameH935, cameH935 maleH2145 and femaleH5347 of all fleshH1320, as 2GodH430 had commandedH6680 him. And Jehovah shutH5462 him in. 17And the floodH3999 wasH1961 fortyH705 daysH3117 on the earthH776. And the watersH4325 increasedH7235, and boreH5375 up the arkH8392; and it wasH1961 liftedH5375 up above the earthH776. 18And the watersH4325 prevailedH1396 and increasedH7235 greatly on the earthH776; and the arkH8392 went on the faceH6440 of the watersH4325. 19And the watersH4325 prevailedH1396 exceedinglyH3966 on the earthH776; and all the highH1364 mountainsH2022 that are under all the heavensH8064 were coveredH3680. 20Fifteen cubitsH520 upwardH4605 the watersH4325 prevailedH1396; and the mountainsH2022 were coveredH3680. 21And all fleshH1320 that moved on the earthH776 expired, fowl as well as cattleH929, and beasts, and all crawling things which crawl on the earthH776, and all mankind: 22everythingH3605 which had in its nostrilsH639 the breathH7307 of lifeH2416, of all that was on the dryH2724 [land], diedH4191. 23And every living being was destroyed that was on the groundH776, both manH120, and cattleH929, and creepingH7431 things, and fowl of the heavensH8064; and they were destroyed from the earthH776. And NoahH5146 alone remainedH7604, and what was with him in the arkH8392. 24And the watersH4325 prevailedH1396 on the earthH776 a hundredH3967 and fiftyH2572 daysH3117.
