1And 1GodH430 blessedH1288 NoahH5146 and his sonsH1121, and saidH559 to them, Be fruitfulH6509 and multiplyH7235, and fillH4390 the earthH776. 2And let the fearH4172 of you and the dread of you beH1961 upon every animalH2416 of the earthH776, and upon all fowl of the heavensH8064: upon all that moveth [on] the groundH776; and upon all the fishes of the seaH3220: into your handH3027 are they delivered. 3Every moving thingH7431 that liveth shall beH1961 foodH402 for you: as the green herb I giveH5414 you everythingH3605. 4OnlyH389, the fleshH1320 with its lifeH5315, its bloodH1818, ye shall not eatH398. 5And indeed your bloodH1818, [the bloodH1818] of your livesH5315, will I requireH1875: at the handH3027 of every animalH2416 will I requireH1875 it, and at the handH3027 of ManH376, at the handH3027 of each [the bloodH1818] of his brotherH251, will I requireH1875 the lifeH5315 of ManH376. 6Whoso sheddeth Man's bloodH1818, by ManH120 shall his bloodH1818 be shedH8210; for in the imageH6754 of 2GodH430 he hath madeH6213 ManH120. 7And ye, be fruitfulH6509 and multiplyH7235: swarmH8317 on the earthH776, and multiplyH7235 on it. 8And 3GodH430 spoke to NoahH5146, and to his sonsH1121 with him, sayingH559, 9And I, behold, I establishH6965 my covenantH1285 with you, and with your seedH2233 after you; 10and with every living soulH5315 which is with you, fowl as well as cattleH929, and all the animalsH929 of the earthH776 with you, of all that has goneH3318 out of the arkH8392 — every animalH929 of the earthH776. 11And I establishH6965 my covenantH1285 with you, neither shall all fleshH1320 beH1961 cutH3772 off any more by the watersH4325 of a floodH3999, and henceforth there shall beH1961 no floodH3999 to destroyH7843 the earthH776. 12And 4GodH430 saidH559, This is the signH226 of the covenantH1285 that I setH5414 between me and you and every living soulH5315 that is with you, for everlasting generationsH1755: 13I setH5414 my bowH7198 in the cloudsH6051, and it shall beH1961 for a signH226 of the covenantH1285 between me and the earthH776. 14And it shall come to pass when I bring cloudsH6051 over the earthH776, that the bowH7198 shall beH1961 seenH7200 in the cloudH6051, 15and I will rememberH2142 my covenantH1285 which is between me and you and every living soulH5315 of all fleshH1320; and the watersH4325 shall not henceforth becomeH1961 a floodH3999 to destroyH7843 all fleshH1320. 16And the bowH7198 shall beH1961 in the cloudH6051; and I will lookH7200 upon it, that I may rememberH2142 the everlasting covenantH1285 between 5GodH430 and every living soulH5315 of all fleshH1320 that is upon the earthH776. 17And 6GodH430 saidH559 to NoahH5146, This is the signH226 of the covenantH1285 which I have establishedH6965 between me and all fleshH1320 that is upon the earthH776. 18And the sonsH1121 of NoahH5146 who wentH3318 out of the arkH8392 wereH1961 ShemH8035, and HamH2526, and JaphethH3315. And HamH2526 is the fatherH1 of CanaanH3667. 19These threeH7969 are the sonsH1121 of NoahH5146; and from these was [the population of] the whole earthH776 spread abroad. 20And NoahH5146 beganH2490 [to be] a husbandman, and plantedH5193 a vineyardH3754. 21And he drankH8354 of the wineH3196, and was drunken, and he uncoveredH1540 himself in his tentH168. 22And HamH2526 the fatherH1 of CanaanH3667 sawH7200 the nakednessH6172 of his fatherH1, and toldH5046 his twoH8147 brethren outside. 23And ShemH8035 and JaphethH3315 tookH3947 the upper garmentH8071 and both laid [it] upon their shouldersH7926, and went backwards, and coveredH3680 the nakednessH6172 of their fatherH1. And their facesH6440 were turned awayH3947, that they sawH7200 not their father's nakednessH6172. 24And NoahH5146 awokeH3364 from his wineH3196, and learned what his youngestH6996 sonH1121 had done to him. 25And he saidH559, CursedH779 beH1961 CanaanH3667; Let him beH1961 a bondman of bondmen to his brethren. 26And he saidH559, BlessedH1288 beH1961 Jehovah, the 7GodH430 of ShemH8035, And let CanaanH3667 beH1961 his bondman. 27Let 8GodH430 enlarge JaphethH3315, and let him dwellH7931 in the tentsH168 of ShemH8035, And let CanaanH3667 beH1961 his bondman. 28And NoahH5146 livedH2421 after the floodH3999 threeH7969 hundredH3967 and fiftyH2572 yearsH8141. 29And all the daysH3117 of NoahH5146 wereH1961 nineH8672 hundredH3967 and fiftyH2572 yearsH8141; and he diedH4191.
