Luke 12:1-42

In those [times], the myriadsG3461 of the crowdG3793 beingG1510 gatheredG1996 togetherG1996, soG5620 that they trod oneG240 on another, he beganG757 to sayG3004 to his disciplesG3101 firstG4413, BewareG4337 of the leavenG2219 of the PhariseesG5330, which isG1510 hypocrisyG5272;

but there isG1510 nothing covered up which shall not beG1510 revealedG601, nor secretG2927 that shall not beG1510 knownG1097;

therefore whatever ye have saidG3004 in the darknessG4653 shall be heardG191 in the lightG5457, and what ye have spokenG2980 in the earG3775 in chambers shall be proclaimedG2784 upon the housetopsG1430.

But I sayG3004 to you, my friendsG5384, FearG5399 not those who killG615 the bodyG4983 and after this have no more that they can do.

But I will shew you whom ye shall fearG5399: FearG5399 him who after he has killedG615 has authorityG1849 to cast into hellG1067; yea, I sayG3004 to you, FearG5399 him.

AreG1510 not fiveG4002 sparrowsG4765 soldG4453 for twoG1417 assaria? and oneG1520 of them isG1510 not forgottenG1950 before 1GodG2316.

But evenG2532 the hairsG2359 of your headG2776 are all numberedG705. FearG5399 not therefore, ye are better than manyG4183 sparrowsG4765.

But I sayG3004 to you, Whosoever shall confessG3670 me before menG444, the SonG5207 of manG444 will confessG3670 him alsoG2532 before the angelsG32 of 2GodG2316;

but he that shall have deniedG720 me before menG444 shall be deniedG720 before the angelsG32 of 3GodG2316;

and whoever shall sayG3004 a wordG3056 against the SonG5207 of manG444 it shall be forgivenG863 him; but to him that speaksG3004 injuriously against the HolyG40 SpiritG4151 it shall not be forgivenG863.

But whenG3752 they bringG1533 you before the synagoguesG4864 and rulersG746 and the authoritiesG1849, be not careful howG4459 or what ye shall answer, or what ye shall sayG3004;

for the HolyG40 SpiritG4151 shall teachG1321 you in the hourG5610 itself what should be saidG3004.

And a person saidG3004 to him out of the crowdG3793, TeacherG1320, speakG3004 to my brotherG80 to divide the inheritanceG2817 with me.

But he saidG3004 to him, ManG444, who established me [as] a judgeG2923 or a divider over you?

And he saidG3004 to them, Take heed and keepG5442 yourselves from all covetousnessG4124, for [it isG1510] not because a man isG1510 in abundanceG4052 [that] his lifeG2222 isG1510 in his possessionsG5225.

And he spokeG3004 a parableG3850 to them, sayingG3004, The landG5561 of a certainG5100 richG4145 manG444 brought forth abundantly.

And he reasonedG1260 within himself sayingG3004, What shall I do? for I have not [a place] whereG4226 I shall lay up my fruitsG2590.

And he saidG3004, This will I do: I will take away my granaries and buildG3618 greaterG3173, and there I will lay up all my produceG4160 and my goodG18 thingsG3778;

and I will sayG3004 to my soulG5590, SoulG5590, thou hast muchG4183 goodG18 thingsG4183 laid by for manyG4183 yearsG2094; repose thyself, eatG2068, drinkG4095, be merryG2165.

But 4GodG2316 saidG3004 to him, FoolG878, this nightG3571 thy soulG5590 shall beG1510 required of thee; and whose shall beG1510 what thou hast preparedG2090?

ThusG3779 is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not richG4147 toward 5GodG2316.

And he saidG3004 to his disciplesG3101, For this cause I sayG3004 unto you, Be not careful for lifeG5590, what ye shall eatG2068, nor for the bodyG4983, what ye shall putG1746 on.

The lifeG5590 isG1510 moreG4183 than foodG5160, and the bodyG4983 than raiment.

ConsiderG2657 the ravens, that they sowG4687 not nor reapG2325; which have neither storehouse nor granary; and 6GodG2316 feedsG5142 them. HowG4214 muchG4214 better areG1510 ye than the birdsG4071?

But which of you by being careful can addG4369 to his statureG2244 oneG3588 cubit?

If thereforeG3767 ye cannot [do] evenG3761 what is leastG1646, whyG5101 are ye careful about the restG3062?

ConsiderG2657 the liliesG2918 howG4459 they growG837: they neither toilG2872 nor spinG3514; but I sayG3004 unto you, Not evenG3761 SolomonG4672 in all his gloryG1391 was clothed as oneG1520 of these.

But if 7GodG2316 thusG3779 clothe the grassG5528, which to-day isG1510 in the fieldG68 and to-morrow isG1510 castG906 into [the] oven, howG4214 muchG4214 ratherG3123 you, O ye of little faith?

And ye, seekG2212 not what ye shall eatG2068 or what ye shall drinkG4095, and be not in anxiety;

for all these thingsG3778 do the nationsG1484 of the worldG2889 seekG1934 after, and your FatherG3962 knows that ye have needG5535 of these thingsG3778;

but seekG2212 his kingdomG932, and [all] these thingsG3778 shall be addedG4369 to you.

FearG5399 not, littleG3398 flockG4168, for it has been the good pleasureG2106 of your FatherG3962 to giveG1325 you the kingdomG932.

SellG4453 what ye possess and giveG1325 almsG1654; makeG4160 to yourselves purses which do not grow oldG3822, a treasureG2344 which does not fail in the heavensG3772, whereG3699 thiefG2812 does not drawG1448 near nor mothG4597 destroyG1311.

For whereG3699 your treasureG2344 isG1510, there alsoG2532 will your heartG2588 beG1510.

Let your loinsG3751 beG1510 girdedG4024 about, and lampsG3088 burningG2545;

and ye like menG444 who wait their ownG1438 lordG2962 whenever he may leave the weddingG1062, that when he comesG2064 and knocksG2925, they may openG455 to him immediatelyG2112.

Blessed are those bondmen whom the lordG2962 [on] comingG2064 shall findG2147 watchingG1127; verily I sayG3004 unto you, that he will girdG4024 himself and make them reclineG347 at table, and comingG2064 up will serveG1247 them.

And if he comeG2064 in the secondG1208 watchG5438, and comeG2064 in the thirdG5154 watchG5438, and findG2147 [them] thusG3779, blessed areG1510 those [bondmen].

But this knowG1097, that if the master of the houseG3624 had knownG1097 in what hourG5610 the thiefG2812 was comingG2064, he would have watched, and not have suffered his houseG3624 to be dug through.

And ye therefore, be ye readyG2092, for in the hourG5610 in which ye do not thinkG1380 [it], the SonG5207 of manG444 comesG2064.

And PeterG4074 saidG3004 to him, LordG2962, sayest thou this parableG3850 to us, or alsoG2532 to all?

And the LordG2962 saidG3004, Who then isG1510 the faithfulG4103 and prudent stewardG3623, whom his lordG2962 will setG2525 over his household, to giveG1325 the measure of corn in seasonG2540?
