39And He wentG4281a littleμικρὸνmikronG3398beyondG4281them,and fellἔπεσενepesenG4098on His faceπρόσωπονprosōponG4383and prayedπροσευχόμενοςproseuchomenosG4336,sayingλέγων·legōnG3004,“My FatherπάτερpaterG3962,ifεἰeiG1487it is possibleδυνατόνdunatonG1415, letthisτοῦτο·toutoG3778cupποτήριονpotērionG4221passπαρελθάτωparelthatōG3928from Me;yetπλὴνplēnG4133not as I willθέλωthelōG2309, but as You will.”
40And He cameἔρχεταιerchetaiG2064to the disciplesμαθητὰςmathētasG3101and foundεὑρίσκειheuriskeiG2147them sleepingκαθεύδονταςkatheudontasG2518,and He saidλέγειlegeiG3004to PeterΠέτρῳ·PetrōG4074,“SoοὕτωςhoutōsG3779, you mencouldἰσχύσατεischusateG2480notkeepG1127watchγρηγορῆσαιgrēgorēsaiG1127with Me for oneμίανmianG1520hourὥρανhōranG5610?
42He wentG565awayἀπελθὼνapelthōnG565againΠάλινPalinG3825a secondδευτέρουdeuterouG1208timeG1208and prayedπροσηύξατοprosēuxatoG4336,sayingλέγων·legōnG3004,“My FatherπάτερpaterG3962,ifεἰeiG1487thisτοῦτοtoutoG3778cupcannotοὐ δύναταιou dunataiG1410G3756passπαρελθεῖνpareltheinG3928awayG3928unlessἐὰν μὴean mēG1437G3361I drinkπίω,piōG4095from it,Your willθέλημάthelēmaG2307be doneγενηθήτωgenēthētōG1096.”
45ThenΤότεToteG5119He cameἔρχεταιerchetaiG2064to the disciplesμαθητὰςmathētasG3101and saidλέγειlegeiG3004to them, “Are you stillG3062sleepingκαθεύδετεkatheudeteG2518and restingἀναπαύεσθε·anapauestheG373?BeholdἰδοὺidouG2400,the hourὥρα,hōraG5610isG1448atG1448handG1448and the SonυἱὸςhuiosG5207of ManἀνθρώπουanthrōpouG444is being betrayedπαραδίδοταιparadidotaiG3860into the handsχεῖραςcheirasG5495of sinnersἁμαρτωλῶν.hamartōlōnG268.
47And while He was stillἔτιetiG2089speakingλαλοῦντοςlalountosG2980,beholdἰδοὺidouG2400,JudasἸούδαςIoudasG2455,oneεἷςheisG1520of the twelveδώδεκαdōdekaG1427,cameἦλθεν,ēlthenG2064accompaniedG3326G846by a largeπολὺςpolusG4183crowdὄχλοςochlosG3793with swordsμαχαιρῶνmachairōnG3162and clubsξύλωνxulōnG3586, who camefrom the chiefἀρχιερέωνarchiereōnG749priestsG749and eldersπρεσβυτέρωνpresbuterōnG4245of the peopleλαοῦ.laouG2992.
51And beholdἰδοὺidouG2400,oneεἷςheisG1520of thoseG3588whoG3588were with JesusἸησοῦIēsouG2424reachedἐκτείναςekteinasG1614and drewἀπέσπασενapespasenG645hisswordμάχαιρανmachairanG3162,and struckπατάξαςpataxasG3960theslaveδοῦλονdoulonG1401of the highἀρχιερέωςarchiereōsG749priestG749andcutἀφεῖλενapheilenG851offG851his earὠτίον.¶ōtionG5621.
52ThenΤότεToteG5119JesusἸησοῦς·IēsousG2424saidλέγειlegeiG3004to him,“PutG654your swordμάχαιράνmachairanG3162backG654into its placeτόπονtoponG5117; forallπάντεςpantesG3956thoseG3588who takeλαβόντεςlabontesG2983up the swordμάχαιρανmachairanG3162will perishἀπολοῦνται.apolountaiG622by the swordμαχαίρῃmachairēG3162.
53OrἢēG2228do you thinkδοκεῖςdokeisG1380that I cannotοὐ δύναμαιou dunamaiG1410G3756appealπαρακαλέσαιparakalesaiG3870to My FatherπατέραpateraG3962,and He will at onceἄρτιartiG737putG3936atG3936My disposalG3936moreπλείωpleiōG4183than twelveδώδεκαdōdekaG1427legionsλεγιῶναςlegiōnasG3003ofangelsἀγγέλων;angelōnG32?
55At that timeὥρᾳhōraG5610JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424saidG3004to the crowdsὄχλοις·ochloisG3793,“Have you comeἐξήλθατεexēlthateG1831outG1831with swordsμαχαιρῶνmachairōnG3162and clubsξύλωνxulōnG3586to arrestσυλλαβεῖνsullabeinG4815Me as you wouldagainstἐπὶepiG1909a manG3027incitingG3027aG3027revoltG3027?Everyκαθ᾽kath᾽G2596dayἡμέρανhēmeranG2250I used to sitἐκαθεζόμηνekathezomēnG2516within the templeG2413groundsteachingδιδάσκων,didaskōnG1321,and you did not arrestἐκρατήσατέekratēsateG2902Me.
