1Now in the firstאַחַ֗ת'a.ChatH259yearוּבִשְׁנַ֣תu.vish.NatH8141of Cyrusלְכ֙וֹרֶשׁ֙le.Kho.reshH3566kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Persiaפָּרַ֔סpa.RasH6539,in order to fulfillלִכְל֥וֹתlikh.LotH3615the wordדְּבַר־de.var-H1697of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068by the mouthמִפִּ֣יmi.PiH6310of Jeremiahיִרְמְיָ֑הyir.me.YahH3414,the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068stirredH5782upH5782the spiritר֙וּחַ֙Ru.achH7307of Cyrusכֹּ֣רֶשׁKo.reshH3566kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Persiaפָּרַ֔סpa.RasH6539, so that hesentוַיַּֽעֲבֶר־vai.ya.'a.ver-H5674a proclamationקוֹל֙kOlH6963throughoutבְּכָל־be.kholH3605his kingdomמַלְכוּת֔וֹmal.khu.ToH4438,and alsoוְגַם־ve.gam-H1571put itin writingבְּמִכְתָּ֖בbe.mikh.TavH4385,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559:

3Whoeverמִֽי־mi-H4310there is among you of allמִכָּל־mi.kolH3605His peopleעַמּ֗וֹa.MoH5971,may his Godאֱלֹהָיו֙'e.lo.HavH430be with him!Goוְיַ֕עַלve.Ya.'alH5927upH5927to Jerusalemלִירוּשָׁלִַ֖םli.ru.sha.LimH3389whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834is in Judahבִּיהוּדָ֑הbi.hu.DahH3063and rebuildוְיִ֗בֶןve.Yi.venH1129the houseבֵּ֤יתbeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478;He is the Godהָאֱלֹהִ֖יםha.'E.lo.HimH430whoאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834is in Jerusalemבִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃bi.ru.sha.LimH3389.

4And everyוְכָל־ve.kholH3605survivorהַנִּשְׁאָ֗רha.nish.'ArH7604,at whateverמִֽכָּל־ אֲשֶׁ֣רmi.kol 'a.SherH3605 H834placeהַמְּקֹמוֹת֮ha.me.ko.mOtH4725he mayliveגָֽר־gar-H1481,the peopleH376ofthat placeמְקֹמ֔וֹme.ko.MoH4725are to supportיְנַשְּׂא֙וּהוּ֙ye.na.se.'U.huH5375him with silverבְּכֶ֥סֶףbe.Khe.sefH3701and goldוּבְזָהָ֖בu.ve.za.HavH2091,with equipmentוּבִרְכ֣וּשׁu.vir.KhushH7399and cattleוּבִבְהֵמָ֑הu.viv.he.MahH929,togetherH5973withH5973avoluntaryH5071offeringהַ֨נְּדָבָ֔הha.ne.da.VahH5071for the houseלְבֵ֥יתle.VeitH1004of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֖יםha.'E.lo.HimH430whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834is in Jerusalemבִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃bi.ru.sha.LimH3389.’”

6And allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605of those aroundסְבִיבֹֽתֵיהֶם֙se.vi.vo.tei.HemH5439themencouragedחִזְּק֣וּ בִֽידֵיהֶ֔םchi.ze.Ku vi.dei.HemH2388 H3027them with articlesבִּכְלֵי־bikh.lei-H3627of silverכֶ֧סֶףKhe.sefH3701,with goldבַּזָּהָ֛בba.za.HavH2091,with equipmentבָּרְכ֥וּשׁba.re.KhushH7399,cattleוּבַבְּהֵמָ֖הu.va.be.he.MahH929,and with valuablesוּבַמִּגְדָּנ֑וֹתu.va.mig.da.NotH4030,asideלְבַ֖דle.VadH905from everythingכָּל־kol-H3605that was givenH5068asH5068aH5068voluntaryH5068offeringH5068.

7Also Kingוְהַמֶּ֣לֶךְve.ha.Me.lekhH4428Cyrusכּ֔וֹרֶשׁKo.reshH3566broughtH3318outH3318the articlesכְּלֵ֣יke.LeiH3627of the houseבֵית־veit-H1004of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,whichאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834Nebuchadnezzarנְבֽוּכַדְנֶצַּר֙ne.vu.khad.ne.TzarH5019had carriedH3318awayH3318from Jerusalemמִיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔םmi.Ru.sha.LimH3389and putוַֽיִּתְּנֵ֖םvai.yi.te.NemH5414in the houseבְּבֵ֥יתbe.VeitH1004of his godsאֱלֹהָֽיו׃'e.lo.HavH430;

8and Cyrusכּ֚וֹרֶשׁKo.reshH3566,kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Persiaפָּרַ֔סpa.RasH6539,had them broughtH3318outH3318by the handיַ֖דyadH3027of Mithredathמִתְרְדָ֣תmit.re.DatH4990the treasurerהַגִּזְבָּ֑רha.giz.BarH1489,and he countedוַֽיִּסְפְּרֵם֙vai.yis.pe.RemH5608them outH5608toSheshbazzarלְשֵׁשְׁבַּצַּ֔רle.she.she.ba.TzarH8339,the leaderהַנָּשִׂ֖יאha.na.Si'H5387of Judahלִיהוּדָֽה׃li.hu.DahH3063.
