4The girlוְהַֽנַּעֲרָ֖הve.ha.na.'a.RahH5291was veryמְאֹ֑דme.'OdH3966beautifulיָפָ֣הya.FahH3303;and she becameוַתְּהִ֨יva.te.HiH1961the king’sלַמֶּ֤לֶךְla.Me.lekhH4428nurseסֹכֶ֙נֶת֙so.Khe.netH5532and servedוַתְּשָׁ֣רְתֵ֔הוּva.te.Sha.re.Te.huH8334him, but the kingוְהַמֶּ֖לֶךְve.ha.Me.lekhH4428did notbecomeH3045intimateH3045with her.

Nowthe kingוְהַמֶּ֖לֶךְve.ha.Me.lekhH4428wasH2204veryמְאֹ֑דme.'OdH3966oldזָקֵ֣ןza.KenH2204,and Abishagוַֽאֲבִישַׁג֙va.'a.vi.ShagH49the Shunammiteהַשּׁ֣וּנַמִּ֔יתha.Shu.na.MitH7767was servingמְשָׁרַ֖תme.sha.RatH8334the kingהַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ha.Me.lekhH4428.

23They informedוַיַּגִּ֤ידוּvai.ya.Gi.duH5046the kingH4428,sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, “Nathanנָתָ֣ןna.TanH5416the prophetהַנָּבִ֑יאha.na.Vi'H5030is hereהִנֵּ֖הhi.NehH2009.”And when he cameוַיָּבֹא֙vai.ya.Vo'H935into the king’s presenceלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440,he prostratedH2331himselfbefore the kingH4428with his faceאַפָּ֖יו'a.PavH639to the groundאָֽרְצָה׃'A.re.tzahH776.

28Then Kingהַמֶּ֤לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Davidדָּוִד֙da.VidH1732respondedוַיַּ֨עַןvai.Ya.'anH6030and saidוַיֹּ֔אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Summonקִרְאוּ־kir.'u-H7121BathshebaH1339to me.” And she cameוַתָּבֹא֙va.ta.Vo'H935into the king’sהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428presenceלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440and stoodוַֽתַּעֲמֹ֖דva.ta.'a.ModH5975beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440the kingהַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ha.Me.lekhH4428.
