Mark 14:26-52
261After singingG5214 a hymnG5214, they wentG1831 out to 2the MountG3735 of OlivesG1636.
273And JesusG2424 saidG3004 to them, “You will allG3956 4fallG4624 awayG4624, becauseG3754 it is writtenG1125, ‘5I will strikeG3960 downG3960 the shepherdG4166, and the sheepG4263 shall be scatteredG1287.’ 28But afterG3326 I have been raisedG1453, 6I will goG4254 aheadG4254 of you to GalileeG1056.” 29But PeterG4074 saidG5346 to Him, “Even thoughG1487 allG3956 may 7fallG4624 awayG4624, yetG235 I will not.” 30And JesusG2424 saidG3004 to him, “TrulyG281 I sayG3004 to you, that 89thisG3778 veryG4594 nightG3571, beforeG4250 10a roosterG220 crowsG5455 twiceG1364, you yourselfG4771 will denyG533 Me threeG5151 timesG5151.” 31But Peter kept sayingG2980 insistentlyG1600, “Even ifG1437 I have to dieG4880 with You, I will not denyG533 You!” And they allG3956 were sayingG3004 the sameG5615 thingG5615 alsoG2532.
3211They cameG2064 to a placeG5564 namedG3686 GethsemaneG1068; and He saidG3004 to His disciplesG3101, “SitG2523 hereG5602 untilG2193 I have prayedG4336.” 33And He tookG3880 with Him PeterG4074 and 12JamesG2385 and JohnG2491, and beganG757 to be veryG1568 13distressedG1568 and troubledG85. 34And He saidG3004 to them, “14My soulG5590 is deeplyG4036 grievedG4036 to the pointG2193 of deathG2288; remainG3306 hereG5602 and keepG1127 watchG1127.” 35And He wentG4281 a littleG3398 beyondG4281 them, and fellG4098 to the groundG1093 and began to prayG4336 that ifG1487 it were possibleG1415, 15the hourG5610 might 16passG3928 Him by. 36And He was sayingG3004, “17AbbaG5! FatherG3962! AllG3956 thingsG3956 are possibleG1415 for You; removeG3911 thisG3778 cupG4221 from Me; 18yetG235 not whatG5101 I willG2309, but whatG5101 You will.” 37And He cameG2064 and foundG2147 them sleepingG2518, and saidG3004 to PeterG4074, “SimonG4613, are you asleepG2518? CouldG2480 you not keepG1127 watchG1127 for oneG1520 hourG5610? 3819KeepG1127 watching and prayingG4336 that you may not comeG2064 into temptationG3986; the spiritG4151 is willingG4289, but the fleshG4561 is weakG772.” 39AgainG3825 He wentG565 awayG565 and prayedG4336, sayingG3004 the sameG846 20wordsG3056. 40And againG3825 He cameG2064 and foundG2147 them sleepingG2518, for their eyesG3788 were very heavyG2599; and they did not knowG3609 whatG5101 to answerG611 Him. 41And He cameG2064 the thirdG5154 timeG5154, and saidG3004 to them, “21Are you stillG3062 sleepingG2518 and restingG373? It is enoughG568; 22the hourG5610 has comeG2064; beholdG2400, the SonG5207 of ManG444 is being 23betrayedG3860 into the handsG5495 of sinnersG268. 42GetG1453 up, let us be goingG71; beholdG2400, the one who betraysG3860 Me is at handG1448!”
4324ImmediatelyG2117 while He was stillG2089 speakingG2980, JudasG2455, oneG1520 of the twelveG1427, cameG3854 up 25accompaniedG3326G846 by a crowdG3793 with swordsG3162 and clubsG3586, who were from the chiefG749 priestsG749 and the scribesG1122 and the eldersG4245. 44NowG1161 he who was betrayingG3860 Him had givenG1325 them a signalG4953, sayingG3004, “WhomeverG3739G302 I kissG5368, He is the one; seizeG2902 Him and leadG520 Him awayG520 26underG806 guardG806.” 45After comingG2064, Judas immediatelyG2117 wentG4334 to Him, sayingG3004, “27RabbiG4461!” and kissedG2705 Him. 46They laidG1911 handsG5495 on Him and seizedG2902 Him. 47But oneG1520 of thoseG3588 who stoodG3936 by drewG4685 his swordG3162, and struckG3817 the slaveG1401 of the highG749 priestG749 and 28cutG851 offG851 his earG5621. 48And JesusG2424 saidG3004 to them, “Have you comeG1831 out with swordsG3162 and clubsG3586 to arrestG4815 Me, as you would againstG1909 a robberG3027? 49EveryG2596 dayG2250 I was with you 29in the templeG2413 teachingG1321, and you did not seizeG2902 Me; but this has taken place to fulfillG4137 the ScripturesG1124.” 50And they allG3956 leftG863 Him and fledG5343.
51A youngG3495 manG3495 was followingG4870 Him, wearingG4016 nothing but a linenG4616 sheetG4616 overG1909 his nakedG1131 body; and they seizedG2902 him. 52But he 30pulledG2641 freeG2641 of the linenG4616 sheetG4616 and escapedG5343 nakedG1131.
