Matthew 25
Darby Bible
1ThenG5119 shall the kingdomG932 of the heavensG3772 be made likeG3666 to tenG1176 virginsG3933 that having takenG2983 their torches, wentG1831 forthG1831 to meetG5222 the bridegroomG3566. 2And fiveG4002 of them wereG1510 prudent and fiveG4002 foolishG3474. 3They that were foolishG3474 tookG2983 their torches and did not takeG2983 oilG1637 with them; 4but the prudent tookG2983 oilG1637 in their vessels with their torches. 5NowG1161 the bridegroomG3566 tarrying, they all grew heavy and slept. 6But in [the] middleG3319 of [the] nightG3571 there was a cry, BeholdG2400, the bridegroomG3566; goG1831 forthG1831 to meetG529 him. 7Then all those virginsG3933 arose and trimmed their torches. 8And the foolishG3474 saidG3004 to the prudent, GiveG1325 us of your oilG1637, for our torches are going out. 9But the prudent answeredG611 sayingG3004, [We cannot,] lestG3361 it might not suffice for us and for you. GoG4198 ratherG3123 to those that sellG4453, and buyG59 for yourselves. 10But as they wentG565 awayG565 to buyG59, the bridegroomG3566 cameG2064, and the [ones that were] readyG2092 wentG565 in with him to the weddingG1062 feastG1062, and the doorG2374 was shutG2808. 11Afterwards comeG2064 alsoG2532 the restG3062 of the virginsG3933, sayingG3004, LordG2962, LordG2962, openG455 to us; 12but he answeringG611 saidG3004, Verily I sayG3004 unto you, I do not know you. 13WatchG1127 thereforeG3767, for ye know not the dayG2250 nor the hourG5610. 14For [it is] as [if] a manG444 going away out of a country calledG2564 his ownG2398 bondmen and deliveredG3860 to them his substance. 15And to oneG1520 he gaveG1325 fiveG4002 talentsG5007, to another twoG1417, and to another oneG1520; to each accordingG2596 to his particular abilityG1411, and immediatelyG2112 went away out of the country. 16And he that had receivedG2983 the fiveG4002 talentsG5007 wentG4198 and trafficked with them, and madeG4160 fiveG4002 otherG243 talentsG5007. 17In like manner also he that [had received] the twoG1417, [he also] gainedG2770 twoG1417 othersG243. 18But he that had receivedG2983 the oneG1520 wentG565 and dugG3736 in the earthG1093, and hidG2928 the moneyG694 of his lordG2962. 19And after a long timeG5550 the lordG2962 of those bondmen comesG2064 and reckons with them. 20And he that had receivedG2983 the fiveG4002 talentsG5007 cameG4334 to [him] and broughtG4374 fiveG4002 otherG243 talentsG5007, sayingG3004, [My] lordG2962, thou deliveredst me fiveG4002 talentsG5007; beholdG2396, I have gainedG2770 fiveG4002 otherG243 talentsG5007 besides them. 21His lordG2962 saidG5346 to him, Well, goodG18 and faithfulG4103 bondman, thou wast faithfulG4103 over a fewG3641 thingsG4183, I will setG2525 thee over manyG4183 thingsG4183: enterG1525 into the joyG5479 of thy lordG2962. 22And he alsoG2532 that had received the twoG1417 talentsG5007 cameG4334 to [him] and saidG3004, [My] lordG2962, thou deliveredst me twoG1417 talentsG5007; beholdG2396, I have gainedG2770 twoG1417 otherG243 talentsG5007 besides them. 23His lordG2962 saidG5346 to him, Well, goodG18 and faithfulG4103 bondman, thou wast faithfulG4103 over a fewG3641 thingsG4183, I will setG2525 thee over manyG4183 thingsG4183: enterG1525 thou into the joyG5479 of thy lordG2962. 24And he alsoG2532 that had receivedG2983 the oneG1520 talentG5007 comingG4334 to [him] saidG3004, [My] lordG2962, I knewG1097 thee that thou art a hardG4642 manG444, reapingG2325 whereG3699 thou hadst not sowedG4687, and gatheringG4863 from whereG3699 thou hadst not scatteredG1287, 25and being afraidG5399 I wentG565 awayG565 and hidG2928 thy talentG5007 in the earthG1093; beholdG2396, thou hast that which is thine. 26And his lordG2962 answeringG611 saidG3004 to him, WickedG4190 and slothful bondman, thou knewest that I reapG2325 whereG3699 I had not sowedG4687, and gatherG4863 from whereG3699 I had not scatteredG1287; 27thou oughtest then to have putG906 my moneyG694 to the money-changers, and when I cameG2064 I should have got what is mine with interestG5110. 28TakeG142 thereforeG3767 the talentG5007 from him, and giveG1325 it to him that has the tenG1176 talentsG5007: 29for to every oneG3739 that has shall be givenG1325, and he shall be in abundanceG4052; but from him that has not, that evenG2532 which he has shall be takenG142 from him. 30And castG1544 out the useless bondman into the outerG1857 darknessG4655; there shall beG1510 the weepingG2805 and the gnashingG1030 of teethG3599. 31But whenG3752 the SonG5207 of manG444 comesG2064 in his gloryG1391, and all the angelsG32 with him, then shall he sitG2523 down upon his throneG2362 of gloryG1391, 32and all the nationsG1484 shall be gatheredG4863 before him; and he shall separateG873 them from oneG240 another, as the shepherdG4166 separatesG873 the sheepG4263 from the goats; 33and he will setG2476 the sheepG4263 on his rightG1188 handG1188, and the goats on [his] left. 34ThenG5119 shall the KingG935 sayG3004 to those on his rightG1188 handG1188, ComeG1205, blessedG2127 of my FatherG3962, inheritG2816 the kingdomG932 preparedG2090 for you from [the] world's foundationG2602: 35for I hungered, and ye gaveG1325 me to eatG2068; I thirsted, and ye gaveG1325 me to drinkG4222; I wasG1510 a strangerG3581, and ye took me in; 36nakedG1131, and ye clothed me; I wasG1510 ill, and ye visited me; I wasG1510 in prisonG5438, and ye cameG2064 to me. 37Then shall the righteousG1342 answerG611 him sayingG3004, LordG2962, when sawG3708 we thee hungering, and nourishedG5142 thee; or thirsting, and gaveG4222 thee to drinkG4222? 38and when sawG3708 we thee a strangerG3581, and took thee in; or nakedG1131, and clothed thee? 39and when sawG3708 we thee ill, or in prisonG5438, and cameG2064 to thee? 40And the KingG935 answeringG611 shall sayG3004 to them, Verily, I sayG3004 to you, Inasmuch as ye have done it to oneG1520 of the leastG1646 of these my brethren, ye have done it to me. 41Then shall he sayG3004 alsoG2532 to those on the left, GoG4198 from me, cursedG2672, into eternalG166 fireG4442, preparedG2090 for the devilG1228 and his angelsG32: 42for I hungered, and ye gaveG1325 me not to eatG2068; I thirsted, and ye gaveG1325 me not to drinkG4222; 43I wasG1510 a strangerG3581, and ye took me not in; nakedG1131, and ye did not clothe me; ill, and in prisonG5438, and ye did not visitG1980 me. 44Then shall they alsoG2532 answerG611 sayingG3004, LordG2962, when sawG3708 we thee hungering, or thirsting, or a strangerG3581, or nakedG1131, or ill, or in prisonG5438, and have not ministeredG1247 to thee? 45ThenG5119 shall he answerG611 them sayingG3004, Verily I sayG3004 to you, Inasmuch as ye have not done it to oneG1520 of these leastG1646, neither have ye done it to me. 46And these shall goG565 awayG565 into eternalG166 punishmentG2851, and the righteousG1342 into lifeG2222 eternalG166.
