1[There is] thenG686 nowG3568 no condemnationG2631 to those in ChristG5547 JesusG2424. 2For the lawG3551 of the SpiritG4151 of lifeG2222 in ChristG5547 JesusG2424 has setG1659 me freeG1659 from the lawG3551 of sinG266 and of deathG2288. 3For what the lawG3551 could not do, in that it was weakG770 through the fleshG4561, 1GodG2316, having sentG3992 his ownG1438 SonG5207, in likenessG3667 of fleshG4561 of sinG266, and for sinG266, has condemnedG2632 sinG266 in the fleshG4561, 4in orderG2443 that the righteousG1345 requirement of the lawG3551 should be fulfilled in us, who do not walkG4043 accordingG2596 to fleshG4561 but accordingG2596 to SpiritG4151. 5For they that areG1510 accordingG2596 to fleshG4561 mindG5426 the things of the fleshG4561; and they that areG1510 accordingG2596 to SpiritG4151, the things of the SpiritG4151. 6For the mindG5427 of the fleshG4561 [is] deathG2288; but the mindG5427 of the SpiritG4151 lifeG2222 and peaceG1515. 7Because the mindG5427 of the fleshG4561 is enmity against 2GodG2316: for it is not subjectG5293 to the lawG3551 of 3GodG2316; for neither indeedG1063 can it be: 8and they that areG1510 in fleshG4561 cannot pleaseG700 4GodG2316. 9But ye areG1510 not in fleshG4561 but in SpiritG4151, if indeed 5God's SpiritG4151 dwell in you; but if any oneG5100 has not [the] SpiritG4151 of ChristG5547 he isG1510 not of him: 10but if ChristG5547 be in you, the bodyG4983 is deadG3498 on accountG1223 of sinG266, but the SpiritG4151 lifeG2222 on accountG1223 of righteousnessG1343. 11But if the SpiritG4151 of him that has raisedG1453 up JesusG2424 from among [the] deadG3498 dwellG1774 in you, he that has raisedG1453 up ChristG5547 from among [the] deadG3498 shall quicken your mortalG2349 bodiesG4983 alsoG2532 on accountG1223 of his SpiritG4151 which dwellsG3611 in you. 12So thenG3767, brethren, we areG1510 debtorsG3781, not to the fleshG4561, to liveG2198 accordingG2596 to fleshG4561; 13for if ye liveG2198 accordingG2596 to fleshG4561, ye are about to dieG599; but if, by the SpiritG4151, ye putG2289 to deathG2289 the deedsG4234 of the bodyG4983, ye shall liveG2198: 14for as manyG3745 as areG1510 ledG71 by [the] SpiritG4151 of 6GodG2316, these areG1510 sonsG5207 of 7GodG2316. 15For ye have not receivedG2983 a spiritG4151 of bondage againG3825 for fearG5401, but ye have receivedG2983 a spiritG4151 of adoptionG5206, whereby we cryG2896, AbbaG5, FatherG3962. 16The SpiritG4151 itself bears witnessG4828 with our spiritG4151, that we areG1510 childrenG5043 of 8GodG2316. 17And if childrenG5043, heirsG2818 alsoG2532: heirsG2818 of 9GodG2316, and Christ's joint heirsG2818; if indeed we sufferG4841 with [him], that we may alsoG2532 be glorified with [him]. 18For I reckon that the sufferings of this presentG3568 timeG2540 are not worthyG514 [to be compared] with the coming gloryG1391 to be revealedG601 to us. 19For the anxious looking out of the creature expects the revelationG602 of the sonsG5207 of 10GodG2316: 20for the creature has been made subjectG5293 to vanity, not of its will, but by reason of him who has subjectedG5293 [the same], in hopeG1680 21that the creature itself alsoG2532 shall be setG1659 freeG1659 from the bondage of corruption into the liberty of the gloryG1391 of the childrenG5043 of 11GodG2316. 22For we know that the whole creationG2937 groans together and travails in pain together until nowG3568. 23And not onlyG3440 [that], but evenG2532 we ourselves, who have the first-fruits of the SpiritG4151, we alsoG2532 ourselves groanG4727 in ourselves, awaitingG553 adoptionG5206, [that is] the redemptionG629 of our bodyG4983. 24For we have beenG1510 savedG4982 in hopeG1680; but hopeG1680 seenG991 isG1510 not hopeG1680; for what any oneG3739 seesG991, whyG5101 does he alsoG2532 hopeG1680? 25But if what we seeG991 not we hopeG1679, we expect in patience. 26And in like manner the SpiritG4151 joins alsoG2532 its helpG4878 to our weaknessG769; for we do not know what we should prayG4336 for as is fitting, but the SpiritG4151 itself makes intercession with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27But he who searchesG2045 the heartsG2588 knows what [is] the mind of the SpiritG4151, because he intercedes for saintsG40 accordingG2596 to 12GodG2316. 28But we do know that all thingsG3956 workG4903 togetherG4903 for goodG18 to those who loveG25 13GodG2316, to those who areG1510 calledG2822 accordingG2596 to purposeG4286. 29Because whom he has foreknown, he has alsoG2532 predestinated [to beG1510] conformed to the imageG1504 of his SonG5207, so that he should beG1510 [the] firstbornG4416 among manyG4183 brethren. 30But whom he has predestinated, these alsoG2532 he has calledG2564; and whom he has calledG2564, these alsoG2532 he has justifiedG1344; but whom he has justifiedG1344, these alsoG2532 he has glorifiedG1392. 31What shall we thenG3767 sayG3004 to these thingsG3778? If 14GodG2316 [be] for us, who against us? 32He who, yea, has not spared his ownG2398 SonG5207, but deliveredG3860 him up for us all, howG4459 shall he not alsoG2532 with him grant us all thingsG3956? 33Who shall bring an accusation against 15God's electG1588? [It is] 16GodG2316 who justifiesG1344: 34who isG1510 he that condemnsG2632? [It isG1510] ChristG5547 who has diedG599, but ratherG3123 has beenG1510 [alsoG2532] raisedG1453 up; who isG1510 alsoG2532 at the rightG1188 handG1188 of 17GodG2316; who alsoG2532 intercedes for us. 35Who shall separateG5563 us from the loveG26 of ChristG5547? tribulationG2347 or distressG4730, or persecutionG1375, or famineG3042, or nakednessG1132, or danger, or swordG3162? 36According as it is writtenG1125, For thy sakeG1752 we are putG2289 to deathG2289 all the dayG2250 long; we have been reckonedG3049 as sheepG4263 for slaughterG4967. 37But in all these thingsG3778 we more than conquer through him that has lovedG25 us. 38For I am persuadedG3982 that neither deathG2288, nor lifeG2222, nor angelsG32, nor principalities, nor thingsG3195 presentG1764, nor thingsG3195 to comeG3195, nor powersG1411, 39nor height, nor depthG899, nor any otherG2087 creature, shall be ableG1410 to separateG5563 us from the loveG26 of 18GodG2316, which [is] in ChristG5547 JesusG2424 our LordG2962.
