Romans 15
Darby Bible
1But we oughtG3784, we that are strongG1415, to bearG941 the infirmities of the weak, and not to pleaseG700 ourselves. 2Let each oneG1538 of us pleaseG700 his neighbour with a view to what is goodG18, to edificationG3619. 3For the ChristG5547 alsoG2532 did not pleaseG700 himself; but according as it is writtenG1125, The reproachesG3680 of them that reproachG3680 thee have fallen upon me. 4For as manyG3745 things as have been writtenG1125 before have been writtenG1125 for our instructionG1319, that through enduranceG5281 and through encouragementG3874 of the scripturesG1124 we might have hopeG1680. 5NowG1161 the 1GodG2316 of enduranceG5281 and of encouragementG3874 giveG1325 to you to be like-minded oneG240 toward another, accordingG2596 to ChristG5547 JesusG2424; 6that ye may with oneG1520 accordG3661, with oneG1520 mouthG4750, glorifyG1392 the 2GodG2316 and FatherG3962 of our LordG2962 JesusG2424 ChristG5547. 7Wherefore receiveG4355 ye oneG240 another, according as the ChristG5547 alsoG2532 has receivedG4355 you to [the] gloryG1391 of 3GodG2316. 8For I sayG3004 that Jesus ChristG5547 becameG1096 a ministerG1249 of [the] circumcisionG4061 for [the] truthG225 of 4GodG2316, to confirmG950 the promisesG1860 of the fathersG3962; 9and that the nationsG1484 should glorifyG1392 5GodG2316 for mercyG1656; according as it is writtenG1125, For this cause I will confessG1843 to thee among [the] nationsG1484, and will singG5567 to thy nameG3686. 10And againG3825 he saysG3004, RejoiceG2165, nationsG1484, with his peopleG2992. 11And againG3825, PraiseG1867 the LordG2962, all [ye] nationsG1484, and let all the peoplesG2992 laud him. 12And againG3825, Esaias saysG3004, There shall beG1510 the rootG4491 of JesseG2421, and oneG3588 that arisesG450, to ruleG757 over [the] nationsG1484: in him shall [the] nationsG1484 hopeG1679. 13NowG1161 the 6GodG2316 of hopeG1680 fillG4137 you with all joyG5479 and peaceG1515 in believingG4100, so that ye should aboundG4052 in hopeG1680 by [the] powerG1411 of [the] HolyG40 SpiritG4151. 14But I amG1510 persuadedG3982, my brethren, I myself alsoG2532, concerningG4012 you, that yourselves alsoG2532 areG1510 fullG3324 of goodnessG19, filledG4137 with all knowledgeG1108, ableG1410 alsoG2532 to admonishG3560 oneG240 another. 15But I have writtenG1125 to you the more boldly, [brethren,] in partG3313, as putting you in mind, because of the graceG5485 givenG1325 to me by 7GodG2316, 16for me to beG1510 ministerG3011 of ChristG5547 JesusG2424 to the nationsG1484, carrying on as a sacrificial service the [message of] glad tidings of 8GodG2316, in orderG2443 that the offeringG4376 up of the nationsG1484 might beG1510 acceptableG2144, sanctifiedG37 by [the] HolyG40 SpiritG4151. 17I have thereforeG3767 [whereof to] boast in ChristG5547 JesusG2424 in the things which pertain to 9GodG2316. 18For I will not dareG5111 to speakG2980 anythingG5100 of the thingsG3739 which ChristG5547 has not wrought by me, for [the] obedienceG5218 of [the] nationsG1484, by wordG3056 and deedG2041, 19in [the] powerG1411 of signsG4592 and wondersG5059, in [the] powerG1411 of [the] SpiritG4151 of 10GodG2316; so that I, from JerusalemG2419, and in a circuit round to Illyricum, have fully preached the glad tidings of the ChristG5547; 20and soG2443 aiming to announce the glad tidings, not whereG3699 ChristG5547 has been named, that I might not buildG3618 upon another's foundationG2310; 21but according as it is writtenG1125, To whom there was nothing told concerningG4012 him, they shall seeG3708; and they that have not heardG191 shall understandG4920. 22Wherefore alsoG2532 I have been often hinderedG1465 from comingG2064 to you. 23But nowG1161, having noG3371 longerG3371 placeG5117 in these regionsG2824, and having greatG4183 desire to comeG2064 to you these manyG4183 yearsG2094, 24whenever I should goG4198 to SpainG4681; (for I hopeG1679 to seeG2300 you as I goG4198 through, and by you to be set forward thither, if firstG4413 I shall have been in partG3313 filled with your company;) 25but nowG1161 I goG4198 to JerusalemG2419, ministeringG1247 to the saintsG40; 26for MacedoniaG3109 and AchaiaG882 have been well pleased to makeG4160 a certainG5100 contribution for the poorG4434 of the saintsG40 who [are] in JerusalemG2419. 27They have beenG1510 well pleased indeed, and they areG1510 their debtorsG3781; for if the nationsG1484 have participated in their spiritualG4152 things, they oughtG3784 alsoG2532 in fleshlyG4559 to ministerG3008 to them. 28Having finished this thereforeG3767, and having sealedG4972 to them this fruitG2590, I will set off by you into SpainG4681. 29But I know that, comingG2064 to you, I shall comeG2064 in [the] fulness of [the] blessingG2129 of ChristG5547. 30But I beseech you, brethren, by our LordG2962 JesusG2424 ChristG5547, and by the loveG26 of the SpiritG4151, that ye strive together with me in prayersG4335 for me to 11GodG2316; 31that I may be saved from those that do not believe in Judaea; and that my ministryG1248 which [I have] for JerusalemG2419 may be acceptableG2144 to the saintsG40; 32in orderG2443 that I may comeG2064 to you in joyG5479 by 12God's will, and that I may be refreshed with you. 33And the 13GodG2316 of peaceG1515 be with you all. AmenG281.
