2 For the law νόμος nomos G3551 of the Spirit πνεύματος pneumatos G4151 of life ζωῆς zōēs G2222 in Christ Χριστῷ Christō G5547 Jesus Ἰησοῦ Iēsou G2424 has set ἠλευθέρωσέν ēleutherōsen G1659 me free G1659 from the law νόμου nomou G3551 of sin ἁμαρτίας hamartias G266 and of death θανάτου. thanatou G2288 . 3 For what the law νόμου, nomou G3551 could not do , in that it was weak ἠσθένει ēsthenei G770 through the flesh σαρκός, sarkos G4561 , God θεὸς theos G2316 , having sent G3992 his own ἑαυτοῦ he'autou G1438 Son υἱὸν huion G5207 , in likeness ὁμοιώματι homoiōmati G3667 of flesh σαρκὸς sarkos G4561 of sin ἁμαρτίας hamartias G266 , and for sin ἁμαρτίας hamartias G266 , has condemned κατέκρινεν katekrinen G2632 sin ἁμαρτίαν hamartian G266 in the flesh σαρκί, sarki G4561 , 4 in order G2443 that the righteous G1345 requirement of the law νόμου nomou G3551 should be fulfilled in us , who do not walk περιπατοῦσιν peripatousin G4043 according κατὰ kata G2596 to flesh σάρκα sarka G4561 but according κατὰ kata G2596 to Spirit πνεῦμα. pneuma G4151 . 5 For they that are G1510 according κατὰ kata G2596 to flesh σάρκα sarka G4561 mind φρονοῦσιν phronousin G5426 the things of the flesh σαρκὸς sarkos G4561 ; and they that are G1510 according κατὰ kata G2596 to Spirit πνεῦμα pneuma G4151 , the things of the Spirit πνεύματος. pneumatos G4151 . 6 For the mind φρόνημα phronēma G5427 of the flesh σαρκὸς sarkos G4561 [ is ] death θάνατος, thanatos G2288 ; but the mind φρόνημα phronēma G5427 of the Spirit πνεύματος pneumatos G4151 life ζωὴ zōē G2222 and peace εἰρήνη. eirēnē G1515 . 7 Because the mind φρόνημα phronēma G5427 of the flesh σαρκὸς sarkos G4561 is enmity against God θεόν· theon G2316 : for it is not subject ὑποτάσσεται, hupotassetai G5293 to the law νόμῳ nomō G3551 of God θεοῦ theou G2316 ; for neither indeed G1063 can it be : 9 But ye are G1510 not in flesh σαρκὶ sarki G4561 but in Spirit πνεύματι, pneumati G4151 , if indeed God's Spirit πνεῦμα pneuma G4151 dwell in you ; but if any one G5100 has not [ the ] Spirit πνεῦμα pneuma G4151 of Christ Χριστοῦ Christou G5547 he is G1510 not of him : 10 but if Christ Χριστὸς Christos G5547 be in you , the body σῶμα sōma G4983 is dead νεκρὸν nekron G3498 on account διὰ dia G1223 of sin ἁμαρτίαν hamartian G266 , but the Spirit πνεῦμα pneuma G4151 life ζωὴ zōē G2222 on account διὰ dia G1223 of righteousness δικαιοσύνην. dikaiosunēn G1343 . 11 But if the Spirit πνεῦμα pneuma G4151 of him that has raised G1453 up Jesus Ἰησοῦν Iēsoun G2424 from among [ the ] dead νεκρῶν nekrōn G3498 dwell ἐνοικοῦντος enoikountos G1774 in you , he that has raised G1453 up Christ Χριστὸν Christon G5547 from among [ the ] dead νεκρῶν nekrōn G3498 shall quicken your mortal θνητὰ thnēta G2349 bodies σώματα sōmata G4983 also καὶ kai G2532 on account διὰ dia G1223 of his Spirit πνεύματος pneumatos G4151 which dwells οἰκεῖ oikei G3611 in you . 13 for if ye live ζῆτε, zēte G2198 according κατὰ kata G2596 to flesh σάρκα sarka G4561 , ye are about to die ἀποθνῄσκειν· apothnēskein G599 ; if indeed we suffer συμπάσχομεν sumpaschomen G4841 with [ him ], that we may also καὶ kai G2532 be glorified with [ him ]. 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present νῦν nun G3568 time καιροῦ kairou G2540 are not worthy G514 [ to be compared] with the coming glory δόξαν doxan G1391 to be revealed ἀποκαλυφθῆναι apokaluphthēnai G601 to us . 19 For the anxious looking out of the creature expects the revelation ἀποκάλυψιν apokalupsin G602 of the sons υἱῶν huiōn G5207 of God θεοῦ theou G2316 : 20 for the creature has been made subject ὑπετάγη, hupetagē G5293 to vanity , not of its will, but by reason of him who has subjected ὑποτάξαντα, hupotaxanta G5293 [ the same], in hope ἑλπίδι helpidi G1680 21 that the creature itself also καὶ kai G2532 shall be set ἐλευθερωθήσεται eleutherōthēsetai G1659 free G1659 from the bondage of corruption into the liberty of the glory δόξης doxēs G1391 of the children G5043 of God θεοῦ. theou G2316 . 22 For we know that the whole creation κτίσις ktisis G2937 groans together and travails in pain together until now νῦν· nun G3568 . 23 And not only G3440 [ that ], but even καὶ kai G2532 we ourselves , who have the first-fruits of the Spirit πνεύματος pneumatos G4151 , we also καὶ kai G2532 ourselves groan στενάζομεν stenazomen G4727 in ourselves , awaiting ἀπεκδεχόμενοι, apekdechomenoi G553 adoption υἱοθεσίαν huiothesian G5206 , [ that is ] the redemption ἀπολύτρωσιν apolutrōsin G629 of our body σώματος sōmatos G4983 . 25 But if what we see βλέπομεν blepomen G991 not we hope ἐλπίζομεν, elpizomen G1679 , we expect in patience . 26 And in like manner the Spirit πνεῦμα pneuma G4151 joins also καὶ kai G2532 its help συναντιλαμβάνεται sunantilambanetai G4878 to our weakness ἀσθενείᾳ astheneia G769 ; for we do not know what we should pray προσευξώμεθα proseuxōmetha G4336 for as is fitting, but the Spirit πνεῦμα pneuma G4151 itself makes intercession with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 But he who searches ἐραυνῶν eraunōn G2045 the hearts καρδίας kardias G2588 knows what [ is ] the mind of the Spirit πνεύματος, pneumatos G4151 , because he intercedes for saints ἁγίων.¶ hagiōn G40 according κατὰ kata G2596 to God θεὸν theon G2316 . 29 Because whom he has foreknown , he has also καὶ kai G2532 predestinated [ to be G1510 ] conformed to the image εἰκόνος eikonos G1504 of his Son υἱοῦ huiou G5207 , so that he should be G1510 [ the ] firstborn πρωτότοκον prōtotokon G4416 among many πολλοῖς pollois G4183 brethren . 30 But whom he has predestinated, these also G2532 he has called ἐκάλεσεν· ekalesen G2564 ; and whom he has called ἐκάλεσεν, ekalesen G2564 , these also G2532 he has justified G1344 ; but whom he has justified G1344 , these also G2532 he has glorified G1392 . 32 He who , yea, has not spared his own ἰδίου idiou G2398 Son υἱοῦ huiou G5207 , but delivered G3860 him up for us all , how πῶς pōs G4459 shall he not also καὶ kai G2532 with him grant us all things G3956 ? 33 Who shall bring an accusation against God's elect ἐκλεκτῶν eklektōn G1588 ?
