Genesis 48:1-7

And it came to pass after these thingsH1697, that one told JosephH3130, Behold, thy fatherH1 is sickH2470. And he tookH3947 with him his twoH8147 sonsH1121 ManassehH4519 and EphraimH669.

And one toldH5046 JacobH3290 and saidH559, Behold, thy sonH1121 JosephH3130 is comingH935 to thee. And IsraelH3478 strengthenedH2388 himself, and satH3427 upon the bedH4296.

And JacobH3290 saidH559 to JosephH3130, The AlmightyH7706 1GodH410 appearedH7200 to me at LuzH3870 in the landH776 of CanaanH3667, and blessedH1288 me,

and he saidH559 to me, Behold, I will makeH5414 thee fruitfulH6509 and multiplyH7235 thee, and I will makeH5414 of thee a companyH6951 of peoplesH5971; and will giveH5414 this landH776 to thy seedH2233 after thee [for] an everlasting possessionH272.

And nowH6258 thy twoH8147 sonsH1121, who wereH1961 bornH3205 to thee in the landH776 of EgyptH4714 before I cameH935 to thee into EgyptH4714, shall beH1961 mine: EphraimH669 and ManassehH4519 shall beH1961 mine, as ReubenH7205 and SimeonH8095.

And thy family which thou hast begotten after them shall beH1961 thine: they shall beH1961 calledH7121 after the nameH8034 of their brethren in their inheritanceH5159.

And as for me, when I cameH935 from Padan, RachelH7354 diedH4191 by me in the landH776 of CanaanH3667 on the wayH1870, when there was yetH5750 a certain distance to comeH935 to EphrathH672; and I buriedH6912 her there on the wayH1870 to EphrathH672, that is, Bethlehem.
