Genesis 42:22-37
And ReubenH7205 answered them, sayingH559, Did I not speak to you, sayingH559, Do not sinH2398 against the ladH3206? But ye did not hearken; and now behold, his bloodH1818 alsoH1571 is requiredH1875.
And they did not knowH3045 that JosephH3130 understood, for the interpreter was between them.
And he turnedH7725 awayH7725 from them, and weptH1058. And he returnedH7725 to them, and spokeH1696 to them, and tookH3947 SimeonH8095 from among them, and boundH631 him before their eyesH5869.
And JosephH3130 gaveH5414 orders to fillH4390 their vesselsH3627 with corn, and to restoreH7725 every man's moneyH3701 into his sackH8242, and to giveH5414 them provision for the wayH1870. And thusH3651 did they to them.
And they loaded their asses with their grainH7668, and departed thence.
And oneH259 of them openedH6605 his sackH572 to giveH5414 his ass food in the inn, and sawH7200 his moneyH3701, and behold, it was in the mouthH6310 of his sackH572.
And he saidH559 to his brethren, My moneyH3701 is returnedH7725 [to me], and behold, it is even in my sackH572. And their heartH3820 failed [them], and they were afraid, sayingH559 oneH376 to another, What is this [that] 1GodH430 has done to us?
And they cameH935 into the landH776 of CanaanH3667, to JacobH3290 their fatherH1, and toldH5046 him all that had befallen them, sayingH559,
The manH376, the lordH113 of the landH776, spokeH1696 roughly to us, and treated us as spiesH7270 of the landH776.
And we saidH559 to him, We are honest; we are not spiesH7270:
we are twelve brethren, sonsH1121 of our fatherH1; oneH259 is not, and the youngestH6996 is this dayH3117 with our fatherH1 in the landH776 of CanaanH3667.
And the manH376, the lordH113 of the landH776, saidH559 to us, Hereby shall I knowH3045 that ye are honest: leave oneH259 of your brethren with me, and takeH3947 [for] the hunger of your householdsH1004, and go,
and bringH935 your youngestH6996 brotherH251 to me, and I shall knowH3045 that ye are not spiesH7270, but are honest. Your brotherH251 will I giveH5414 up to you; and ye may trade in the landH776.
And it came to pass as they emptied their sacksH8242, that behold, every manH376 had his bundle of moneyH3701 in his sackH8242; and they sawH7200 their bundles of moneyH3701, they and their fatherH1, and wereH1961 afraidH3372.
And JacobH3290 their fatherH1 saidH559 to them, Ye have bereavedH7921 me of children: JosephH3130 is not, and SimeonH8095 is not, and ye will takeH3947 BenjaminH1144! All these things are against me.
And ReubenH7205 spoke to his fatherH1, sayingH559, Slay my twoH8147 sonsH1121 if I bringH935 him not backH7725 to thee: giveH5414 him into my handH3027, and I will bringH935 him to thee again.
