Genesis 38:8-11
Then JudahH3063 saidH559 to OnanH209, GoH935 in to thy brother's wifeH802, and fulfil to her the brother-in-law's duty, and raiseH6965 up seedH2233 to thy brotherH251.
But when OnanH209 knewH3045 that the seedH2233 should not beH1961 his own, it cameH935 to pass when he wentH935 in to his brother's wifeH802, that he spilled [it] on the groundH776, in order to giveH5414 no seedH2233 to his brotherH251.
And the thing which he did was evilH7489 in the sight of Jehovah, and he slew him alsoH1571.
And JudahH3063 saidH559 to TamarH8559 his daughter-in-law, RemainH3427 a widowH490 in thy father's houseH1004, until ShelahH7956 my sonH1121 is grownH1431; for he saidH559, LestH6435 he dieH4191 alsoH1571, as his brethren. And TamarH8559 went and remainedH3427 in her father's houseH1004.
