Genesis 30:27-43

27And LabanH3837 saidH559 to him, I pray thee, if I have foundH4672 favour in thine eyesH5869 — I have discovered that Jehovah has blessedH1288 me for thy sake. 28And he saidH559, Appoint to me thy wagesH7939, and I will giveH5414 it. 29And he saidH559 to him, Thou knowest how I have servedH5647 thee, and what thy cattle has becomeH1961 with me. 30For it wasH1961 littleH4592 that thou hadst before me, and it is increased to a multitudeH7230, and Jehovah has blessedH1288 thee from the time I came; and nowH6258, when shall I alsoH1571 provide for my houseH1004? 31And he saidH559, What shall I giveH5414 thee? And JacobH3290 saidH559, Thou shalt not giveH5414 me anythingH1697. If thou doest this for me, I will again feedH7462 [and] keepH8104 thy flockH6629: 32I will passH5674 through all thy flockH6629 to-day, to removeH5493 thence all the speckled and spotted sheepH6629, and all the brown lambsH3775, and the spotted and speckled among the goatsH5795; and [that] shall beH1961 my hireH7939. 33And my righteousnessH6666 shall answerH6030 for me hereafter, when thou comest about my hireH7939, before thy faceH6440: all that is not speckled and spotted among the goatsH5795, and brown among the lambsH3775, let that be stolenH1589 with me. 34And LabanH3837 saidH559, Well, let it beH1961 according to thy wordH1697. 35And he removedH5493 that dayH3117 the he-goats that were ringstraked and spotted, and all the she-goats that were speckled and spotted, every one that had whiteH3836 in it, and all the brown among the lambsH3775, and gaveH5414 [them] into the handH3027 of his sonsH1121. 36And he putH7760 threeH7969 days' journeyH1870 between himself and JacobH3290. And JacobH3290 fed the rest of Laban's flockH6629. 37And JacobH3290 tookH3947 freshH3892 rods of whiteH3836 poplarH3839, almond-tree, and maple; and peeled off whiteH3836 stripes in them, uncovering the whiteH3836 which was on the rods. 38And he set the rods which he had peeled before the flockH6629, in the troughs at the watering-places whereH834 the flockH6629 cameH935 to drinkH8354, and they were ardent whenH834 they cameH935 to drinkH8354. 39And the flockH6629 was ardent before the rods; and the flockH6629 broughtH3205 forthH3205 ringstraked, speckled, and spotted. 40And JacobH3290 separatedH6504 the lambsH3775, and setH5414 the facesH6440 of the flockH6629 toward the ringstraked, and all the brown in the flockH6629 of LabanH3837; and he madeH5414 himself separateH6504 flocksH6629, and did not putH5414 them with Laban's flockH6629. 41And it came to pass whensoever the strong cattle wereH1961 ardent, that JacobH3290 laid the rods before the eyesH5869 of the flockH6629 in the gutters, that they might becomeH1961 ardent among the rods; 42but when the sheepH6629 wereH1961 feeble, he putH7760 [them] not in; so the feeble wereH1961 Laban's, and the strong Jacob's. 43And the manH376 increased veryH3966, veryH3966 muchH7227, and had muchH7227 cattle, and bondwomen, and bondmen, and camelsH1581, and asses.
