Isaiah 52
Darby Bible
1AwakeH5782, awakeH5782; putH3847 on thy strengthH5797, O ZionH6726; putH3847 on thy beautiful garmentsH899, JerusalemH3389, the holyH6944 cityH5892: for henceforth there shall no more comeH935 into thee the uncircumcisedH6189 and the uncleanH2931. 2ShakeH5287 thyself from the dustH6083; ariseH6965, sitH3427 down, JerusalemH3389: loose thyself from the bands of thy neckH6677, captive daughterH1323 of ZionH6726. 3For thusH3541 saith Jehovah: Ye have soldH4376 yourselves for nought, and ye shall be redeemedH1350 without moneyH3701. 4For thusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: My peopleH5971 wentH3381 downH3381 at the firstH7223 into EgyptH4714 to sojourn there, and AssyriaH804 oppressedH6231 them without cause; 5and nowH6258, what have I hereH6311, saith Jehovah, that my peopleH5971 hath been takenH3947 awayH3947 for nought? They that ruleH4910 over them make them to howl, saith Jehovah; and continuallyH8548 all the dayH3117 is my nameH8034 scorned. 6ThereforeH3651 my peopleH5971 shall knowH3045 my nameH8034; thereforeH3651 [they shall knowH3045] in that dayH3117 that I [am] HE, that saith, HereH2005 am I. 7HowH4100 beautiful upon the mountainsH2022 are the feetH7272 of him that announceth glad tidings, that publisheth peaceH7965; that announceth glad tidings of goodH2896, that publisheth salvationH3444, that saith unto ZionH6726, Thy 1GodH430 reigneth! 8— The voiceH6963 of thy watchmenH6822, they liftH5375 up the voiceH6963, they singH7442 aloudH7442 togetherH3162; for they shall seeH7200 eyeH5869 to eyeH5869, when Jehovah shall bringH7725 again ZionH6726. 9BreakH6476 forthH6476, singH7442 aloudH7442 togetherH3162, wasteH2723 placesH2723 of JerusalemH3389; for Jehovah comforteth his peopleH5971, he hath redeemedH1350 JerusalemH3389. 10Jehovah hath made bareH2834 his holyH6944 armH2220 in the sight of all the nationsH1471; and all the endsH657 of the earthH776 shall seeH7200 the salvationH3444 of our 2GodH430. 11— DepartH5493, departH5493, goH3318 out from thence, touchH5060 not what is uncleanH2931; goH3318 out of the midstH8432 of her, be ye clean, that bearH5375 the vesselsH3627 of Jehovah. 12For ye shall not goH1980 out with hasteH2649, nor goH1980 by flight; for Jehovah will goH1980 before you, and the 3GodH430 of IsraelH3478 will be your rear-guard. 13Behold, my servantH5650 shall deal prudently; he shall be exaltedH7311 and be liftedH5375 up, and be veryH3966 highH7311. 14As manyH7227 were astonished at thee — his visage was soH3651 marred more than any manH376, and his formH8389 more than the children of menH376 15— soH3651 shall he astonish manyH7227 nationsH1471; kingsH4428 shall shutH7092 their mouthsH6310 at him: for what had not been told them shall they seeH7200, and what they had not heardH8085 shall they considerH7200.
