Isaiah 56
Darby Bible
1ThusH3541 saith Jehovah: KeepH8104 ye judgmentH4941 and do righteousnessH6666; for my salvationH3444 is near to comeH935, and my righteousnessH6666 to be revealedH1540. 2Blessed is the manH120 that doeth this, and the sonH1121 of manH120 that holdeth fast to it; that keepeth the sabbathH7676 from profaningH2490 it, and keepeth his handH3027 from doing any evilH7451. 3And let not the sonH1121 of the alien, that hath joined himself to Jehovah, speak sayingH559, Jehovah hath entirely separatedH914 me from his peopleH5971; neither let the eunuchH5631 sayH559, Behold, I am a dryH3002 treeH6086; 4for thusH3541 saith Jehovah: Unto the eunuchsH5631 that keepH8104 my sabbathsH7676, and chooseH977 the things that please me, and holdH2388 fast to my covenantH1285, 5even unto them will I giveH5414 in my houseH1004 and within my wallsH2346 a place and a nameH8034 betterH2896 than of sonsH1121 and daughtersH1323; I will giveH5414 them an everlasting nameH8034, that shall not be cutH3772 off. 6Also the sonsH1121 of the alien, that joinH3867 themselves to Jehovah, to minister unto him and to loveH157 the nameH8034 of Jehovah, to beH1961 his servantsH5650, every one that keepeth the sabbathH7676 from profaningH2490 it, and holdeth fast to my covenantH1285; 7even them will I bringH935 to my holyH6944 mountainH2022, and makeH8055 them joyful in my houseH1004 of prayerH8605; their burnt-offerings and their sacrificesH2077 shall be accepted upon mine altarH4196: for my houseH1004 shall be calledH7121 a houseH1004 of prayerH8605 for all the peoplesH5971. 8The LordH136 Jehovah, who gathereth the outcasts of IsraelH3478, saith: YetH5750 will I gatherH6908 [others] to him, with those of his that are gatheredH6908. 9All ye beasts of the fieldH7704, comeH857 to devourH398, all ye beasts in the forestH3293. 10His watchmenH6822 are all of them blindH5787, they are without knowledge; they are all dumb dogsH3611 that cannot bark, dreaming, lyingH7901 downH7901, lovingH157 to slumberH5123: 11and the dogsH3611 are greedy, they knowH3045 not to be satisfied, and these are shepherdsH7462 that knowH3045 not how to discernH995: they all turnH6437 to their own wayH1870, every oneH376 for his gainH1215, even to the last of them: 12Come, [say they,] I will fetch wineH3196, and we will fill ourselves with strongH7941 drinkH7941; and to-morrow shall beH1961 as this dayH3117, [and] much more abundant.
