Isaiah 62
Darby Bible
1For Zion's sakeH4616 will I not hold my peaceH8252, and for Jerusalem's sakeH4616 I will not be still, until her righteousnessH6664 goH3318 forthH3318 as brightnessH5051, and her salvationH3444 as a torchH3940 that burneth. 2And the nationsH1471 shall seeH7200 thy righteousnessH6664, and all kingsH4428 thy gloryH3519; and thou shalt be calledH7121 by a newH2319 nameH8034, which the mouthH6310 of Jehovah will nameH8034. 3And thou shalt beH1961 a crownH5850 of beautyH8597 in the handH3027 of Jehovah, and a royal diadem in the handH3027 of thy 1GodH430. 4Thou shalt no more be termed, Forsaken; neither shall thy landH776 any more be termed, Desolate: but thou shalt be calledH7121, My delightH2654 is in her, and thy landH776, MarriedH1166; for Jehovah delighteth in thee, and thy landH776 shall be marriedH1166. 5For [as] a youngH1121 man marrieth a virginH1330, shall thy sonsH1121 marryH1166 thee; and with the joyH4885 of the bridegroom over the brideH3618, shall thy 2GodH430 rejoiceH7797 over thee. 6I have set watchmenH8104 upon thy wallsH2346, JerusalemH3389; all the dayH3117 and all the nightH3915 they shall never hold their peace: ye that put Jehovah in remembranceH2142, keepH8104 not silence, 7and giveH5414 him no restH1824, till he establishH3559, and till he makeH7760 JerusalemH3389 a praiseH8416 in the earthH776. 8Jehovah hath swornH7650 by his rightH3225 handH3225 and by the armH2220 of his strengthH5797, I will indeed no more giveH5414 thy corn [to be] foodH3978 for thine enemiesH341; and the sonsH1121 of the alien shall not drinkH8354 thy newH8492 wineH8492, for which thou hast laboured; 9for they that have garnered it shall eatH398 it, and praiseH1984 Jehovah; and they that have gatheredH622 it shall drinkH8354 it in the courts of my holinessH6944. 10Go through, go through the gatesH8179; prepare the wayH1870 of the peopleH5971; cast up, cast up the highwayH4546; gather out the stonesH68; liftH7311 up a banner for the peoplesH5971. 11Behold, Jehovah hath proclaimed unto the endH7097 of the earthH776, SayH559 ye to the daughterH1323 of ZionH6726, Behold, thy salvationH3468 cometh; behold, his rewardH7939 is with him, and his recompence before him. 12And they shall callH7121 them, The holyH6944 peopleH5971, The redeemedH1350 of Jehovah; and thou shalt be calledH7121, The soughtH1875 out, The cityH5892 not forsaken.
