Isaiah 45:5-10
I [am] Jehovah, and there is none else; there is no 1GodH430 beside me: I girdedH247 thee, and thou hast not knownH3045 me;
— that they may knowH3045 from the rising of the sunH8121, and from the going down, that there is none beside me. I [am] Jehovah, and there is none else;
formingH3335 the lightH216 and creating darknessH2822, makingH6213 peaceH7965 and creating evilH7451: I, Jehovah, do all these thingsH428.
Drop down, [ye] heavensH8064, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousnessH6666; let the earthH776 openH6605, and let them bring forth salvationH3468, and with it let righteousnessH6666 springH6779 up. I, Jehovah, have createdH1254 it.
WoeH1945 unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let a potsherdH2789 [strive] with the potsherdsH2789 of the earthH127. Shall the clay sayH559 to him that formeth it, What makest thou? Or thy workH6467, He hath no handsH3027?
WoeH1945 unto him that saith unto [his] fatherH1, What begettest thou? Or to [his] mother, What hast thou broughtH3205 forthH3205?
