Isaiah 43:22-28
22— But thou hast not calledH7121 upon me, JacobH3290; for thou hast been wearyH3021 of me, O IsraelH3478: 23thou hast not broughtH935 me the small cattle of thy burnt-offerings, neither hast thou glorifiedH3513 me with thy sacrificesH2077. I have not caused thee to toil with an oblation, nor weariedH3021 thee with incense. 24Thou hast boughtH7069 me no sweet caneH7070 with moneyH3701, neither hast thou filledH7301 me with the fatH2459 of thy sacrificesH2077; but thou hast made me to toil with thy sinsH2403, thou hast weariedH3021 me with thine iniquitiesH5771. 25— I, I [am] He that blotteth out thy transgressionsH6588 for mine own sakeH4616, and I will not rememberH2142 thy sinsH2403. 26Put me in remembranceH2142, let us plead togetherH3162; rehearse thine own [cause], that thou mayest be justifiedH6663. 27Thy firstH7223 fatherH1 hath sinnedH2398, and thy mediators have rebelledH6586 against me. 28And I have profanedH2490 the princesH8269 of the sanctuaryH6944, and have givenH5414 JacobH3290 to the ban, and IsraelH3478 to reproaches.
