Darby Bible
Isaiah 25:4-9
4For thou hast beenH1961 a fortress to the poor, a fortress for the needyH34 in his distressH6862, a refugeH4268 from the stormH2230, a shadowH6738 from the heat: for the blast of the terrible onesH6184 [has beenH1961] as the stormH2230 [against] a wallH7023.
5Thou hast subduedH3665 the tumult of strangersH2114, as the heat in a dryH6724 place; [as] the heat, by the shadowH6738 of a cloudH5645, [so] the songH2158 of the terrible onesH6184 is brought low.
6And in this mountainH2022 will Jehovah of hostsH6635 makeH6213 unto all peoplesH5971 a feastH4960 of fat things, a feastH4960 of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refinedH2212.
7And he will destroy in this mountainH2022 the faceH6440 of the veil which veileth all the peoplesH5971, and the covering that is spread over all the nationsH1471.
8He will swallowH1104 up deathH4194 in victory. And the Lord Jehovah will wipeH4229 awayH5493 tearsH1832 from off all facesH6440; and the reproachH2781 of his peopleH5971 will he take awayH5493 from off all the earthH776: for Jehovah hath spokenH1696.
9And it shall be saidH559 in that dayH3117, Behold, this is our 1GodH430; we have waited for him, and he will saveH3467 us: this is Jehovah, we have waited for him; we will be gladH8055 and rejoiceH8055 in his salvationH3444.
