Revised Version 1895
Isaiah 25:4-9
4For thou hast been a strongH4581 hold to the poorH34, a strongH4581 hold to the needyH34 in his distressH6862, a refugeH4268 from the stormH2230, a shadowH6738 from the heat, when the blastH7307 of the terrible onesH6184 is as a stormH2230 against the wallH7023.
5As the heat in a dryH6724 place shalt thou bring down the noiseH7588 of strangersH2114; as the heat by the shadowH6738 of a cloudH5645, the songH2158 of the terrible onesH6184 shall be brought low.
6And in this mountainH2022 shall the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635 makeH6213 unto allH3605 peoplesH5971 a feastH4960 of fat things, a feastH4960 of wines on the lees, of fat things fullH3605 of marrow, of wines on the lees well refinedH2212.
7And he will destroyH3605 in this mountainH2022 the faceH6440 of the coveringH4541 that is cast over allH3605 peoplesH5971, and the veil that is spread over allH3605 nationsH1471.
8He hath swallowedH1104 upH1104 deathH4194 for everH5331; and the LordH3068 GODH3068 will wipeH4229 awayH5493 tearsH1832 from offH5921 allH3605 facesH6440; and the reproachH2781 of his peopleH5971 shall he takeH5493 awayH5493 from offH5921 allH3605 the earthH776: for the LORDH3068 hath spokenH1696 it.
9And it shall be saidH559 in that dayH3117, LoH2009, this is our GodH430; weH3117 have waited for him, and he will saveH3467 usH3117: this is the LORDH3068; weH3117 have waited for him, weH3117 will be gladH8055 and rejoiceH8055 in his salvationH3444.
