Isaiah 14:25-32
25to breakH7665 the Assyrian in my landH776; and upon my mountainsH2022 will I treadH947 him under foot; and his yokeH5923 shall departH5493 from off them, and his burdenH5448 departH5493 from off their shouldersH7926. 26This is the counselH6098 which is purposed concerning the whole earthH776; and this is the handH3027 which is stretchedH5186 out upon all the nationsH1471. 27For Jehovah of hostsH6635 hath purposed, and who shall frustrate [it]? And his handH3027 is stretchedH5186 out, and who shall turnH7725 it backH7725? 28In the yearH8141 of the deathH4194 of kingH4428 AhazH271 wasH1961 this burdenH4853: 29RejoiceH8055 not thou, PhilistiaH6429, all of thee, because the rodH7626 that smote thee is brokenH7665; for out of the serpent's rootH8328 shall comeH3318 forthH3318 a viper, and his fruitH6529 shall be a fiery flying serpent. 30And the firstbornH1060 of the poor shall feedH7462, and the needyH34 shall lieH7257 down in safety; but I will killH2026 thy rootH8328 with famineH7458, and thy remnantH7611 shall be slainH2026. 31Howl, O gateH8179! cryH2199, O cityH5892! thou, PhilistiaH6429, art wholly dissolved; for there cometh from the northH6828 a smokeH6227, and none remaineth apart in his gatherings [of troops]. 32And what shall be answeredH6030 to the messengersH4397 of the nationH1471? That Jehovah hath foundedH3245 ZionH6726, and the afflictedH6041 of his peopleH5971 find refugeH2620 in it.
