Mark 14:20-38

20But He saidG3004to them, “It isone of the twelveδώδεκα,dōdekaG1427,the one who dipsἐμβαπτόμενοςembaptomenosG1686breadwith Me in the bowlτρύβλιον.trublionG5165.

21For the SonυἱὸςhuiosG5207of ManἀνθρώπουanthrōpouG444is goingG5217awayG5217justG2531asG2531it is writtenγέγραπταιgegraptaiG1125aboutπερὶperiG4012Him; but woeοὐαὶouaiG3759to that manἀνθρώπῳanthrōpōG444by whomοὗhouG3739the SonυἱὸςhuiosG5207of ManἀνθρώπουanthrōpouG444is betrayedπαραδίδοται·paradidotaiG3860! It would have beengoodκαλὸνkalonG2570for that manἄνθρωποςanthrōposG444ifεἰeiG1487he had not been bornἐγεννήθηegennēthēG1080.”

22While they were eatingἐσθιόντωνesthiontōnG2068,He tookλαβὼνlabōnG2983somebreadἄρτον,artonG740, and after ablessingεὐλογήσαςeulogēsasG2127He brokeἔκλασενeklasenG2806it,and gaveἔδωκενedōkenG1325itto them, and saidG3004,“TakeλάβετεlabeteG2983it;thisτοῦτόtoutoG3778is My bodyσῶμάsōmaG4983.”

23And when He had takenλαβὼνlabōnG2983a cupποτήριον,potērionG4221andgivenG2168thanksεὐχαριστήσαςeucharistēsasG2168,He gaveἔδωκενedōkenG1325itto them, and they allπάντες.pantesG3956drankἔπιονepionG4095from it.

24And He saidG3004to them,“ThisτοῦτόtoutoG3778is MybloodαἷμάhaimaG129of thecovenantδιαθήκηςdiathēkēsG1242,whichG3588is being pouredG1632outG1632for manyπολλῶν.pollōnG4183.

25TrulyἀμὴνamēnG281I sayλέγωlegōG3004to you, I will not drinkπίωpiōG4095of the fruitG1079of the vineἀμπέλουampelouG288againG3765,untilἕωςhe'ōsG2193that dayἡμέραςhēmerasG2250whenὅτανhotanG3752I drinkπίνωpinōG4095it, newκαινὸνkainonG2537,in the kingdomβασιλείᾳbasileiaG932of Godθεοῦ.¶theouG2316.”

26And after singingG5214aG5214hymnὑμνήσαντεςhumnēsantesG5214,they wentG1831outG1831tothe MountὄροςorosG3735of OlivesG1636.

27And JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424saidλέγειlegeiG3004to them,“You will allπάντεςpantesG3956fallσκανδαλισθήσεσθεskandalisthēsestheG4624awayG4624,becauseG3754it is writtenγέγραπται·gegraptaiG1125: ‘I will strikeπατάξωpataxōG3960the shepherdποιμένα,poimenaG4166,and the sheepπρόβαταprobataG4263will be scatteredδιασκορπισθήσονται.diaskorpisthēsontaiG1287.’

28But afterμετὰmetaG3326I am raisedἐγερθῆναίegerthēnaiG1453,I will goπροάξωproaxōG4254aheadG4254of you to GalileeΓαλιλαίαν.GalilaianG1056.”

29But PeterΠέτροςPetrosG4074saidἔφηephēG5346to Him, “EvenκαὶkaiG2532ifεἰeiG1487they allπάντεςpantesG3956fallσκανδαλισθήσονταιskandalisthēsontaiG4624awayG4624,yetἀλλ᾽all᾽G235I will not!”

30And JesusἸησοῦς·IēsousG2424saidλέγειlegeiG3004to him,“TrulyἀμὴνamēnG281I sayλέγωlegōG3004to you, thatthisταύτῃtautēG3778veryσήμερονsēmeronG4594nightνυκτὶnuktiG3571,beforeπρὶνprinG4250a roosterἀλέκτοραalektoraG220crowsφωνῆσαιphōnēsaiG5455twiceδὶςdisG1364,you yourselfG4771will denyἀπαρνήσῃ.aparnēsēG533Me threeG5151timesG5151.”

31But Peter repeatedlysaidἐλάλειelaleiG2980insistentlyG1600, “EvenifἐὰνeanG1437I have to dieσυναποθανεῖνsunapothaneinG4880with You, I will not denyἀπαρνήσομαι.aparnēsomaiG533You!” And they allπάντεςpantesG3956were sayingἔλεγον.¶elegonG3004the sameG5615thingG5615asG2532wellG2532.

32They cameἔρχονταιerchontaiG2064to a placeχωρίονchōrionG5564namedὄνομαonomaG3686GethsemaneΓεθσημανί,GethsēmaniG1068;and He saidλέγειlegeiG3004to His disciplesμαθηταῖςmathētaisG3101,“SitκαθίσατεkathisateG2523hereὧδεhōdeG5602untilἕωςhe'ōsG2193I have prayedπροσεύξωμαι.proseuxōmaiG4336.”

33And He tookπαραλαμβάνειparalambaneiG3880with Him PeterΠέτρονPetronG4074,JamesἸάκωβονIakōbonG2385,and JohnἸωάννηνIōannēnG2491,and beganἤρξατοērxatoG757to be veryG1568distressedG1568and troubledἀδημονεῖν.adēmoneinG85.

34And He saidλέγειlegeiG3004to them, “My soulψυχήpsuchēG5590is deeplyG4036grievedG4036,toG2193theG2193pointG2193of deathθανάτου.thanatouG2288;remainμείνατεmeinateG3306hereὧδεhōdeG5602andkeepG1127watchγρηγορεῖτε.grēgoreiteG1127.”

35And He wentG4281a littleμικρὸνmikronG3398beyondG4281them,and fellἔπιπτενepiptenG4098to the groundγῆςgēsG1093and beganprayingπροσηύχετοprosēuchetoG4336that ifεἰeiG1487it were possibleδυνατόνdunatonG1415,the hourὥρα.hōraG5610mightpassπαρέλθῃparelthēG3928Him by.

36And He was sayingἔλεγεν·elegenG3004, “Abbaαββα,abbaG5!Fatherπατήρ,patērG3962!AllG3956thingsπάνταpantaG3956are possibleδυνατάdunataG1415for You; removeπαρένεγκεparenegkeG3911thisτοῦτοtoutoG3778cupποτήριονpotērionG4221from Me;yetG235not whatτίtiG5101I willθέλωthelōG2309,but whatτίtiG5101You will.”

37And He cameἔρχεταιerchetaiG2064and foundεὑρίσκειheuriskeiG2147them sleepingκαθεύδονταςkatheudontasG2518,and saidλέγειlegeiG3004to PeterΠέτρῳ·PetrōG4074,“SimonΣίμων,SimōnG4613,are you asleepκαθεύδεις;katheudeisG2518?CouldἴσχυσαςischusasG2480you notkeepG1127watchγρηγορῆσαι;grēgorēsaiG1127for oneμίανmianG1520hourὥρανhōranG5610?

38KeepG1127watchingγρηγορεῖτεgrēgoreiteG1127and prayingπροσεύχεσθεproseuchestheG4336,soἵναinaG2443thatG2443you will not comeἔλθητεelthēteG2064into temptationπειρασμόν.peirasmonG3986;the spiritπνεῦμαpneumaG4151is willingπρόθυμον,prothumonG4289,but the fleshσὰρξsarxG4561is weakἀσθενής.asthenēsG772.”
