Isaiah 65:1-16

I am soughtH1245 out of them that inquired not [for me], I am foundH4672 of them that soughtH1245 me not; I have saidH559, Behold me, behold me, unto a nationH1471 that was not calledH7121 by my nameH8034.

I have stretched out my handsH3027 all the dayH3117 unto a rebelliousH5637 peopleH5971, who walkH1980 in a wayH1870 not goodH2896, after their own thoughtsH4284;

the peopleH5971 that provokeH3707 me to angerH3707 continuallyH8548 to my faceH6440, sacrificingH2076 in gardensH1593 and burning incenseH6999 upon the bricksH3843;

who sitH3427 down among the gravesH6913, and lodge in the secretH5341 places; who eatH398 swine's fleshH1320, and broth of abominable thingsH3627 [is in] their vesselsH3627;

who sayH559, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holierH6942 than thou. These are a smokeH6227 in my noseH639, a fireH784 that burneth all the dayH3117.

Behold, it is writtenH3789 before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosomH2436,

your iniquitiesH5771, and the iniquitiesH5771 of your fathersH1 togetherH3162, saith Jehovah, who have burned incenseH6999 upon the mountainsH2022, and outraged me upon the hillsH1389; and I will measureH4058 their formerH7223 workH6468 into their bosomH2436.

ThusH3541 saith Jehovah: As the newH8492 wineH8492 is foundH4672 in the clusterH811, and it is saidH559, DestroyH7843 it not, for a blessingH1293 is in it; soH3651 will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not destroyH7843 [them] all.

And I will bringH3318 forthH3318 a seedH2233 out of JacobH3290, and out of JudahH3063 a possessor of my mountainsH2022; and mine elect shall possessH3423 it, and my servantsH5650 shall dwellH7931 there.

And the SharonH8289 shall beH1961 a fold for flocksH6629, and the valleyH6010 of AchorH5911 a couching-place of the herdsH1241, for my peopleH5971 that have soughtH1875 me.

But ye who forsakeH5800 Jehovah, who forgetH7911 my holyH6944 mountainH2022, who prepareH6186 a tableH7979 for Gad, and fillH4390 up mixedH4469 wineH4469 unto Meni:

I will even assign you to the swordH2719, and ye shall all bowH3766 downH3766 in the slaughterH2874; because I calledH7121, and ye did not answerH6030, I spokeH1696, and ye did not hearH8085; but ye did what was evilH7451 in mine eyesH5869, and choseH977 that wherein I delightH2654 not.

ThereforeH3651 thusH3541 saith the LordH136 Jehovah: Behold, my servantsH5650 shall eatH398, and ye shall be hungryH7456; behold, my servantsH5650 shall drinkH8354, and ye shall be thirstyH6770; behold, my servantsH5650 shall rejoiceH8055, and ye shall be ashamedH954;

behold, my servantsH5650 shall singH7442 aloudH7442 for gladness of heartH3820, and ye shall cryH6817 out for sorrow of heartH3820, and shall howl for vexation of spiritH7307.

And ye shall leave your nameH8034 for a curse unto mine elect; for the LordH136 Jehovah will slay thee, and will callH7121 his servantsH5650 by another nameH8034:

so that he who blesseth himself in the landH776 shall blessH1288 himself by the 1GodH430 of truth; and he that sweareth in the landH776 shall swearH7650 by the 2GodH430 of truth: because the formerH7223 troubles shall be forgottenH7911, and because they shall be hiddenH5641 from mine eyesH5869.
