Isaiah 59:9-14
ThereforeH3651 is justiceH4941 farH7368 from us, and righteousnessH6666 overtaketh us not: we waitH6960 for lightH216, and behold darknessH2822; for brightness, [but] we walkH1980 in obscurity.
We gropeH1659 for the wallH7023 like the blindH5787, and we gropeH1659 as if we had no eyesH5869: we stumbleH3782 at midday as in the twilightH5399; amongst the flourishing we are as the deadH4191.
We roarH1993 all like bearsH1677, and mourn grievously like dovesH3123: we look for judgmentH4941, and there is none; for salvationH3444, [but] it is farH7368 from us.
For our transgressionsH6588 are multipliedH7235 before thee, and our sinsH2403 testifyH6030 against us; for our transgressionsH6588 are with us; and our iniquitiesH5771, we knowH3045 them:
in transgressingH6586 and lyingH8267 against Jehovah, and departing away from our 1GodH430, speakingH1696 oppressionH6233 and revolt, conceivingH2029 and utteringH1897 from the heartH3820 wordsH1697 of falsehoodH8267.
And judgmentH4941 is turned awayH7350 backwardH268, and righteousnessH6666 standeth afarH7350 off; for truthH571 stumbleth in the street, and uprightness cannot enter.
