Isaiah 53:2-5
For he shall grow up before him as a tender sapling, and as a rootH8328 out of dryH6723 groundH776: he hath no formH8389 nor lordliness, and when we seeH7200 him, there is no beauty that we should desireH2530 him.
He is despisedH959 and left alone of menH376; a manH376 of sorrows, and acquainted with grief, and like oneH376 from whom [menH376] hide their facesH6440; — despisedH959, and we esteemedH2803 him not.
Surely he hath borneH5375 our griefs and carriedH5375 our sorrows; and we, we did regardH2803 him strickenH5221, smitten of 1GodH430, and afflicted.
But he was wounded for our transgressionsH6588, he was bruised for our iniquitiesH5771; the chastisement of our peaceH7965 was upon him, and with his stripes we are healedH7495.
