Isaiah 40:3-8

The voiceH6963 of one crying in the wildernessH4057: Prepare ye the wayH1870 of Jehovah, makeH3474 straightH3474 in the desertH6160 a highwayH4546 for our 1GodH430!

Every valleyH1516 shall beH1961 raised up, and every mountainH2022 and hillH2022 shall beH1961 brought lowH8213; and the crooked shall beH1961 made straight, and the rough places a plainH4334.

And the gloryH3519 of Jehovah shall be revealedH1540, and all fleshH1320 shall seeH7200 [it] togetherH3162: for the mouthH6310 of Jehovah hath spokenH1696.

A voiceH6963 saith, Cry. And he saith, What shall I cry? — All fleshH1320 is grassH2682, and all the comeliness thereof as the flowerH6731 of the fieldH7704.

The grassH2682 withereth, the flowerH6731 fadeth, for the breathH7307 of Jehovah bloweth upon it: surely the peopleH5971 is grassH2682.

The grassH2682 withereth, the flowerH6731 fadeth; but the wordH1697 of our 2GodH430 abideth for everH5769.
