Isaiah 26:16-21
16Jehovah, in trouble they sought thee; they pouredH6694 out [their] whispered prayer when thy chasteningH4148 was upon them. 17As a woman with child, that draweth near her delivery, is in travail, [and] crieth out in her pangs; soH3651 have we beenH1961 before thee, Jehovah. 18We have been with childH3205, we have been in travail, we have as it were broughtH3205 forthH3205 windH7307; we have not wrought the deliveranceH3444 of the landH776, neither have the inhabitantsH3427 of the worldH8398 fallenH5307. 19Thy deadH4191 shall liveH2421, my deadH4191 bodies shall ariseH6965. Awake and singH7442 in triumph, ye that dwellH7931 in dustH6083; for thy dewH2919 is the dewH2919 of the morning, and the earthH776 shall castH5307 forth the deadH4191. 20ComeH935, my peopleH5971, enter into thy chambersH2315, and shutH5462 thy doorsH1817 about thee; hideH2247 thyself just for a littleH4592 momentH7281, until the indignationH2195 be past. 21For behold, Jehovah cometh out of his placeH4725 to visitH6485 the iniquityH5771 of the inhabitantsH3427 of the earthH776 upon them; and the earthH776 shall disclose her bloodH1818, and shall no more coverH3680 her slainH2026.
