Isaiah 25:1-5
Jehovah, thou art my 1GodH430: I will exaltH7311 thee; I will celebrate thy nameH8034, for thou hast done wonderful things; counselsH6098 of old [which are] faithfulnessH530 [and] truth.
For thou hast madeH7760 of the cityH5892 a heapH1530, of the fortifiedH1219 townH7151 a ruin, the palace of strangersH2114 to be no cityH5892; it shall never be builtH1129 up.
ThereforeH3651 shall the mightyH5794 peopleH5971 glorifyH3513 thee, the city of terrible nationsH1471 shall fearH3372 thee.
For thou hast beenH1961 a fortress to the poor, a fortress for the needyH34 in his distressH6862, a refugeH4268 from the stormH2230, a shadowH6738 from the heat: for the blast of the terrible onesH6184 [has beenH1961] as the stormH2230 [against] a wallH7023.
Thou hast subduedH3665 the tumult of strangersH2114, as the heat in a dryH6724 place; [as] the heat, by the shadowH6738 of a cloudH5645, [so] the songH2158 of the terrible onesH6184 is brought low.
