Isaiah 22:1-7

The burdenH4853 of the valleyH1516 of visionH2384. What aileth thee now, that thou art wholly goneH5927 up to the housetops?

Thou that wast fullH4395 of stir, a townH7151 of tumult, a joyous cityH5892: thy slainH2491 men are not slainH2491 with the swordH2719, nor deadH4191 in battleH4421.

All thy rulersH7101 have fledH1272 togetherH3162, they are taken prisonersH631 without the bowH7198: all that are foundH4672 of thee are made prisonersH631 togetherH3162; they were fleeingH1272 farH7350 off.

ThereforeH3651 saidH559 I, LookH8159 away from me; let me weepH1065 bitterly: labour not to comfortH5162 me, because of the spoiling of the daughterH1323 of my peopleH5971.

For it is a dayH3117 of trouble, and of treading down, and of perplexity, from the LordH136, Jehovah of hostsH6635, in the valleyH1516 of visionH2384; [a dayH3117 of] breaking down the wallH7023, and of crying to the mountainH2022:

— ElamH5867 beareth the quiverH827 with chariotsH7393 of menH120 [and] horsemenH6571; and KirH7024 uncovereth the shieldH4043.

And it shall come to pass [that] thy choicest valleysH6010 shall beH1961 fullH4390 of chariotsH7393, and the horsemenH6571 shall setH7896 themselves in array at the gateH8179.
