Isaiah 22:1-7
1The burdenH4853 of the valleyH1516 of visionH2384.
What aileth thee now, that thou art wholly goneH5927 up to the housetops? 2O thou that art fullH4395 of shoutings, a tumultuous cityH5892, a joyous townH7151; thy slainH2491 are not slainH2491 with the swordH2719, neither are they deadH4191 in battleH4421. 3All thy rulersH7101 fledH1272 awayH1272 togetherH3162, they were boundH631 by the archers; all that were foundH4672 of thee were boundH631 togetherH3162; they fledH1272 afarH7350 off. 4ThereforeH3651 saidH559 I, LookH8159 away from me, I will weepH1065 bitterly; labor not to comfortH5162 me for the destructionH7701 of the daughterH1323 of my peopleH5971.
5For it is a dayH3117 of discomfiture, and of treading down, and of perplexity, from the LordH136, Jehovah of hostsH6635, in the valleyH1516 of visionH2384; a breaking down of the wallsH7023, and a crying to the mountainsH2022. 6And ElamH5867 bareH6168 the quiverH827, with chariotsH7393 of menH120 and horsemenH6571; and KirH7024 uncovered the shieldH4043. 7And it came to pass, that thy choicest valleysH6010 wereH1961 fullH4390 of chariotsH7393, and the horsemenH6571 setH7896 themselves in array at the gateH8179.
