15But while everyoneG3956 wasG2296 astonishedG2296 at allG3956 that He was doingG4160, He saidG3004 to His disciplesG3101, 44“As for you, let theseG3778 wordsG3056 sinkG5087 into your earsG3775: 16for the SonG5207 of ManG444 isG3195 goingG3195 toG3195 be 17handedG3860G5495 overG3860 to menG444.” 45But 18they 19did not understandG50 thisG3778 statementG4487, and it was concealedG3871 from them soG2443 thatG2443 they would not comprehendG143 it; and they wereG5399 afraidG5399 to askG2065 Him aboutG4012 thisG3778 statementG4487.

4926JohnG2491 answeredG611 and saidG3004, “27MasterG1988, we sawG3708 someoneG5100 castingG1544 outG1544 demonsG1140 in Your nameG3686; and we tried to preventG2967 him, becauseG3754 he does not followG190 alongG190 withG190 us.” 50But JesusG2424 saidG3004 to him, “Do not hinderG2967 him; 28for the one whoG3739 is not againstG2596 you is 29for you.”

51WhenG1722 the daysG2250 were approachingG4845 for 30His 31ascensionG354, He 32was determinedG4741 33to goG4198 to JerusalemG2419; 52and He sentG649 messengersG32 on aheadG4253G4383 of Him, and they wentG4198 and enteredG1525 a villageG2968 of the 34SamaritansG4541 to 35makeG2090 arrangementsG2090 for Him. 53And they did not receiveG1209 Him, 36becauseG3754 37He was travelingG4198 towardG1519 JerusalemG2419. 54When His disciplesG3101 38JamesG2385 and JohnG2491 sawG3708 this, they saidG3004, “LordG2962, do You wantG2309 us to 39commandG3004 fireG4442 to comeG2597 downG2597 from heavenG3772 and consumeG355 them?” 55But He turnedG4762 and rebukedG2008 them.40 56And they wentG4198 on to anotherG2087 villageG2968.
