Jeremiah 30
1The wordH1697 that came to JeremiahH3414 from Jehovah, sayingH559, 2ThusH3541 speaketh Jehovah the 1GodH430 of IsraelH3478, sayingH559, WriteH3789 thee in a bookH5612 all the wordsH1697 that I have spokenH1696 unto thee. 3For behold, the daysH3117 comeH935, saith Jehovah, when I will turnH7725 the captivityH7622 of my peopleH5971 IsraelH3478 and JudahH3063, saith Jehovah; and I will cause them to returnH7725 to the landH776 that I gaveH5414 to their fathersH1, and they shall possessH3423 it. 4And these are the wordsH1697 that Jehovah hath spokenH1696 concerningH413 IsraelH3478 and concerningH413 JudahH3063; 5for thusH3541 saith Jehovah: We have heardH8085 a voiceH6963 of trembling, there is fearH6343, and no peaceH7965. 6AskH7592 ye now, and seeH7200, whether a maleH2145 doth travail with childH3205? Wherefore do I seeH7200 every manH1397 with his handsH3027 on his loinsH2504, as a woman in travail; and all facesH6440 are turnedH2015 into paleness? 7AlasH1945! for that dayH3117 is greatH1419, so that none is like it: it is even the timeH6256 of Jacob's troubleH6869; but he shall be savedH3467 out of it. 8And it shall come to pass in that dayH3117, saith Jehovah of hostsH6635, I will breakH7665 his yokeH5923 from off thy neckH6677, and will burst thy bonds, and strangersH2114 shall no more reduce him to servitude. 9But they shall serveH5647 Jehovah their 2GodH430, and DavidH1732 their kingH4428, whom I will raiseH6965 up unto them. 10And thou, my servantH5650 JacobH3290, fearH3372 not, saith Jehovah; neither be dismayedH2865, O IsraelH3478: for behold, I will saveH3467 thee from afarH7350, and thy seedH2233 from the landH776 of their captivityH7628; and JacobH3290 shall returnH7725, and shall be in rest, and at easeH7599, and none shall make [him] afraidH3372. 11For I am with thee, saith Jehovah, to saveH3467 thee: for I will makeH6213 a full end of all the nationsH1471 whither I have scatteredH6327 thee; yet of thee will I not makeH6213 a full end, but I will correct thee with judgmentH4941, and will not hold thee altogether guiltless. 12For thusH3541 saith Jehovah: Thy bruise is incurableH605, thy woundH4347 is grievous. 13There is none to plead thy causeH1779, to bind up [thy woundH4205]; thou hast no healing medicines. 14All thy loversH157 have forgottenH7911 thee; they seekH1875 thee not. For I have smitten thee with the stroke of an enemyH341, with the chastisement of a cruelH394 one, for the greatnessH7230 of thine iniquityH5771: thy sinsH2403 are manifold. 15WhyH4100 criest thou because of thy bruise? thy sorrow is incurableH605; for the greatnessH7230 of thine iniquityH5771, [because] thy sinsH2403 are manifold, I have done these thingsH428 unto thee. 16ThereforeH3651 all that devourH398 thee shall beH1961 devouredH398, and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivityH7628; and they that spoilH957 thee shall beH1961 for a spoilH957; and all they that preyH957 upon thee will I giveH5414 to beH1961 a preyH957. 17For I will apply a bandage unto thee, and I will healH7495 thee of thy woundsH4347, saith Jehovah; for they have calledH7121 thee an outcastH5080: This is ZionH6726 that no man seeketh after. 18ThusH3541 saith Jehovah: Behold, I will turnH7725 the captivityH7622 of Jacob's tentsH168, and have mercyH7355 on his habitations; and the cityH5892 shall be builtH1129 upon her own heap; and the palace shall be inhabitedH3427 after the manner thereof. 19And out of them shall proceed thanksgivingH8426, and the voiceH6963 of them that makeH3513 merry: and I will multiplyH7235 them, and they shall not be diminishedH4591; and I will honour them, and they shall not be smallH4591. 20And their sonsH1121 shall beH1961 as aforetime; and their assemblyH5712 shall beH1961 establishedH3559 before me; and I will punishH6485 all that oppressH3905 them. 21And their prince shall beH1961 of themselves, and their rulerH4910 shall proceed from the midstH7130 of them; and I will cause him to approach, and he shall drawH7126 near unto me. For who is this that engageth his heartH3820 to drawH7126 near unto me? saith Jehovah. 22And ye shall beH1961 my peopleH5971, and I will beH1961 your 3GodH430. 23Behold, a tempestH5591 of Jehovah, fury is goneH3318 forthH3318, a sweeping stormH5591: it shall whirl down upon the headH7218 of the wickedH7563. 24The fierce angerH639 of Jehovah shall not returnH7725, until he have executed, and until he have performed the purposesH4209 of his heartH3820. At the endH319 of the daysH3117 ye shall considerH995 it.
