Jeremiah 28
1And it came to pass the same yearH8141, in the beginning of the reignH4467 of ZedekiahH6667 kingH4428 of JudahH3063, in the fourthH7243 yearH8141, in the fifthH2549 monthH2320, [that] HananiahH2608 the sonH1121 of AzzurH5809, the prophetH5030, who wasH1961 of GibeonH1391, spoke to me in the houseH1004 of Jehovah, in the presence of the priestsH3548 and of all the peopleH5971, sayingH559, 2ThusH3541 speaketh Jehovah of hostsH6635, the 1GodH430 of IsraelH3478, sayingH559, I have brokenH7665 the yokeH5923 of the kingH4428 of BabylonH894. 3Within two full yearsH8141 will I bringH935 againH5750 into this placeH4725 all the vesselsH3627 of Jehovah's houseH1004, that NebuchadnezzarH5019 kingH4428 of BabylonH894 tookH3947 awayH7725 from this placeH4725, and carried to BabylonH894; 4and I will bringH935 again to this placeH4725 JeconiahH3204 the sonH1121 of JehoiakimH3079, the kingH4428 of JudahH3063, with all the captives of JudahH3063 that wentH935 to BabylonH894, saith Jehovah: for I will breakH7665 the yokeH5923 of the kingH4428 of BabylonH894. 5And the prophetH5030 JeremiahH3414 spoke unto the prophetH5030 HananiahH2608 in the presence of the priestsH3548, and in the presence of all the peopleH5971 that stoodH5975 in the houseH1004 of Jehovah. 6And the prophetH5030 JeremiahH3414 saidH559, AmenH543, may Jehovah do soH3651! may Jehovah perform thy wordsH1697 which thou hast prophesiedH5012, to bringH7725 again from BabylonH894, into this placeH4725, the vesselsH3627 of Jehovah's houseH1004, and all them of the captivity! 7NeverthelessH389, hearH8085, I pray thee, this wordH1697 which I speakH1696 in thine earsH241, and in the earsH241 of all the peopleH5971: 8The prophetsH5030 that have beenH1961 before me and before thee of old, prophesiedH5012 also concerning manyH7227 countries and concerning greatH1419 kingdomsH4467, of warH4421, and of evilH7451, and of pestilenceH1698. 9The prophetH5030 that prophesieth of peaceH7965, whenH834 the wordH1697 of the prophetH5030 shall comeH935 to pass, shall be knownH3045 as the prophetH5030 whom Jehovah hath really sentH7971. 10And the prophetH5030 HananiahH2608 tookH3947 the yoke from off the prophetH5030 Jeremiah's neckH6677, and brokeH7665 it. 11And HananiahH2608 spoke in the presence of all the peopleH5971, sayingH559, ThusH3541 saith Jehovah: So will I breakH7665 the yokeH5923 of NebuchadnezzarH5019 the kingH4428 of BabylonH894 within two full yearsH8141 from off the neckH6677 of all the nationsH1471. And the prophetH5030 JeremiahH3414 went his wayH1870. 12And the wordH1697 of Jehovah came unto JeremiahH3414, after that the prophetH5030 HananiahH2608 had brokenH7665 the yoke from off the neckH6677 of the prophetH5030 JeremiahH3414, sayingH559, 13GoH1980 and tell HananiahH2608, sayingH559, ThusH3541 saith Jehovah: Thou hast brokenH7665 the yokes of woodH6086, and thou hast madeH6213 in their placeH8478 yokes of ironH1270. 14For thusH3541 saith Jehovah of hostsH6635, the 2GodH430 of IsraelH3478: I have putH5414 a yokeH5923 of ironH1270 upon the neckH6677 of all these nationsH1471, that they may serveH5647 NebuchadnezzarH5019 kingH4428 of BabylonH894; and they shall serveH5647 him: and I have givenH5414 him the beasts of the fieldH7704 alsoH1571. 15And the prophetH5030 JeremiahH3414 saidH559 unto the prophetH5030 HananiahH2608, HearH8085 now, HananiahH2608: Jehovah hath not sentH7971 thee; and thou makest this peopleH5971 to trustH982 in falsehoodH8267. 16ThereforeH3651 thusH3541 saith Jehovah: Behold, I will cast thee from off the faceH6440 of the earthH127: this yearH8141 thou shalt dieH4191, for thou hast spokenH1696 revolt against Jehovah. 17And the prophetH5030 HananiahH2608 diedH4191 in the same yearH8141 in the seventhH7637 monthH2320.
