(Ezekiel 28:25–26)

1This is the wordH1697 thatH834 cameH1961 toH413 JeremiahH3414 fromH854 the LORDH3068H559: 2“This is whatH3541 the LORDH3068, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478H559, saysH559: ‘WriteH3789 inH413 a bookH5612 allH3605 the wordsH1697 thatH834 I have spokenH1696 to youH413. 3ForH3588 beholdH2009, the daysH3117 are comingH935, declaresH5002 the LORDH3068, when I will restoreH7725 from captivityH76221 My peopleH5971 IsraelH3478 and JudahH3063, declaresH559 the LORDH3068. I will restore themH7725 toH413 the landH776 thatH834 I gaveH5414 to their fathersH1, and they will possess itH3423.’”

4TheseH428 are the wordsH1697 thatH834 the LORDH3068 spokeH1696 concerningH413 IsraelH3478H413 and JudahH3063. 5YesH3588, this is whatH3541 the LORDH3068 saysH559:

“A cryH6963 of panicH2731 is heardH8085—a cry of terrorH6343, notH369 of peaceH7965.6AskH7592 nowH4994, and seeH7200:CanH518 a maleH2145 give birthH3205?Why thenH4069 do I seeH7200 everyH3605 manH1397with his handsH3027 onH5921 his stomachH2504 like a woman in laborH3205and everyH3605 faceH6440 turnedH2015 paleH3420?7HowH3588H1419 awfulH1945 thatH1931 day will beH3117!None will beH369 like itH3644!It isH1931 the timeH6256 of Jacob’sH3290 distressH6869,but he will be savedH3467 out of itH4480.
8On thatH1931 dayH3117,declaresH5002 the LORDH3068 of HostsH6635,I will breakH7665 the yokeH5923 offH5921 their necksH6677and tear offH5423 their bondsH4147,and noH3808 longerH5750 will strangersH2114 enslaveH5647 them.9Instead, they will serveH5647 the LORDH3068 their GodH430andH853 DavidH1732 their kingH4428,whomH834 I will raise upH6965 for them.
10As for youH859, O JacobH3290 My servantH5650, do notH408 be afraidH3372,declaresH5002 the LORDH3068,and do notH408 be dismayedH2865,O IsraelH3478.ForH3588 I will surely save youH2005H3467 out of a distant placeH7350,your descendantsH2233 from the landH776 of their captivityH7628!JacobH3290 will returnH7725 to quietH8252 and easeH7599,with no oneH369 to make him afraidH2729.11ForH3588 IH589 am with youH854 to save youH3467,declaresH5002 the LORDH3068.ThoughH3588 I will completelyH6213 destroyH3617 allH3605 the nationsH1471 to whichH834 I have scattered youH6327H8033,I will notH3808 completely destroy youH6213H3617.Yet I will discipline youH3256 justlyH4941,and will by no meansH3808 leave you unpunishedH5352.”

12ForH3588 this is whatH3541 the LORDH3068 saysH559:

“Your injuryH7667 is incurableH605;your woundH4347 is grievousH2470.13There is no oneH369 to plead your causeH1777,noH1779 remedyH7499 for your soresH4205,noH369 recoveryH8585 for you.14AllH3605 your loversH157 have forgottenH7911 youH853;they no longerH3808 seek youH1875,forH3588H4347 I have struck youH5221 as an enemy wouldH341,with the disciplineH4148 of someone cruelH394,because ofH5921 your greatH7230 iniquityH5771and your numerousH6105 sinsH2403.
15WhyH4100 do you cry outH2199 overH5921 your woundH7667?Your painH4341 has no cureH605!Because ofH5921 your greatH7230 iniquityH5771and your numerousH6105 sinsH2403I have doneH6213 these thingsH428 to you.
16NeverthelessH3651, allH3605 who devour youH398 will be devouredH398,and allH3605 your adversariesH6862—every one of themH3605—will go offH1980 into exileH7628.Those who plundered youH8155 will be plunderedH1961H4933,and allH3605 who raided youH962 will be raidedH5414H957.17ButH3588 I will restoreH5927 your healthH724 and healH7495 your woundsH4347,declaresH5002 the LORDH3068,becauseH3588 they callH7121 you an outcastH5080,ZionH6726, for whomH1931 no oneH369 caresH1875.”

18This is whatH3541 the LORDH3068H2005 saysH559:

“I will restoreH7725 the fortunes ofH76222 Jacob’sH3290 tentsH168and have compassionH7355 on his dwellingsH4908.And the cityH5892 will be rebuiltH1129 on herH5921 own ruinsH8510,and the palaceH759 will standH3427 inH5921 its rightful placeH4941.19ThanksgivingH8426 will proceedH3318 from them,a soundH6963 of celebrationH7832.I will multiply themH7235, and they will notH3808 be decreasedH4591;I will honor themH3513, and they will notH3808 be belittledH6819.20Their childrenH1121 will beH1961 as in days of oldH6924,and their congregationH5712 will be establishedH3559 before MeH6440;and I will punishH6485H5921 allH3605 their oppressorsH3905.21Their leaderH117 will beH1961 one of their ownH4480,and their rulerH4910 will ariseH3318 from their midstH7130.And I will bring him nearH7126, and he will approachH5066 MeH413,forH3588 whoH4310H1931H2088 would dareH6148 on his ownH3820 to approachH5066 MeH413?”declaresH5002 the LORDH3068.22“And you will beH1961 My peopleH5971,and IH595 will beH1961 your GodH430.”
23BeholdH2009, the stormH5591 of the LORDH3068has gone outH3318 with furyH2534,a whirlwindH5591H1481 swirling downH2342uponH5921 the headsH7218 of the wickedH7563.24The fierce angerH2740 of the LORDH3068H639 will notH3808 turn backH7725untilH5704 He has fully accomplishedH6213H5704H6965 the purposesH4209 of His heartH3820.In the daysH3117 to comeH319you will understandH995 this.
