Isaiah 8:1-8
And Jehovah saidH559 to me, TakeH3947 thee a greatH1419 tablet, and writeH3789 thereon with a man's style, concerning Maher-shalal-hash-bazH4122.
And I took unto me to witnessH5707, sure witnessesH5707, Urijah the priestH3548, and ZechariahH2148 the sonH1121 of Jeberechiah.
And I came near to the prophetessH5031, and she conceivedH2029 and boreH3205 a sonH1121; and Jehovah saidH559 unto me, CallH7121 his nameH8034, Maher-shalal-hash-bazH4122.
For before the ladH5288 knoweth to cry, My fatherH1! and, My motherH517! the riches of DamascusH1834 and the spoilH7998 of SamariaH8111 shall be takenH5375 awayH5375 before the kingH4428 of AssyriaH804.
And Jehovah spokeH1696 againH5750 to me, sayingH559,
Forasmuch as this peopleH5971 refuseth the watersH4325 of Shiloah which flow softly, and rejoiceth in RezinH7526 and in the sonH1121 of RemaliahH7425,
thereforeH3651 behold, the LordH136 will bringH5927 up upon them the watersH4325 of the riverH5104, strong and manyH7227, the kingH4428 of AssyriaH804 and all his gloryH3519; and he shall mount up over all his channelsH650, and goH1980 over all his banksH1415:
and he shall passH5674 through JudahH3063; he shall overflowH7857 it and go further, he shall reachH5060 even to the neckH6677; and the stretching out of his wingsH3671 shall fillH4393 the breadthH7341 of thy landH776, O Immanuel!
