Isaiah 31:4-9
4For thusH3541 hath Jehovah saidH559 unto me: Like as the lionH738 and the youngH3715 lionH738 growling over his preyH2964, when a multitudeH1995 of shepherdsH7462 is calledH7121 forth against him, is not afraid of their voiceH6963, nor giveth way before the multitudeH1995 of them; soH3651 will Jehovah of hostsH6635 comeH3381 down to warH6635 upon mount ZionH6726, and on the hillH2022 thereof. 5As birdsH6833 with outstretched wings, soH3651 will Jehovah of hostsH6635 cover JerusalemH3389; covering, he will also deliverH5337, passing over, he will rescueH5337 [it]. 6TurnH7725 unto him from whom ye have deeply revolted, ye children of IsraelH3478; 7for in that dayH3117 every manH376 shall cast away his idolsH457 of silverH3701 and his idolsH457 of goldH2091, which your sinful handsH3027 have madeH6213 unto you. 8And AsshurH804 shall fallH5307 by the swordH2719, not of a great manH376; and the swordH2719, not of a mean manH376, shall devourH398 him: and he shall fleeH5127 from the swordH2719, and his youngH970 menH376 shall becomeH1961 tributary; 9and for fear, he shall passH5674 over to his rockH5553, and his princesH8269 shall be afraid of the banner, saith Jehovah, whose fireH217 is in ZionH6726, and his furnaceH8574 in JerusalemH3389.
