Darby Bible
Isaiah 18:1-6
1Ha! landH776 shadowing with wingsH3671, which art beyond the riversH5104 of CushH3568,
2that sendest ambassadors over the seaH3220, and in vesselsH3627 of papyrusH1573 upon the watersH4325, [saying,] GoH7971, swiftH7031 messengersH4397, to a nationH1471 scattered and ravaged, to a peopleH5971 terrible from their existence and thenceforth; to a nationH1471 of continued waiting and of treading down, whose landH776 the riversH5104 have spoiled!
3All ye inhabitantsH3427 of the worldH8398, and dwellersH7931 on the earthH776, when a banner is liftedH5375 up on the mountainsH2022, seeH7200 ye, and when a trumpetH7782 is blownH8628, hearH8085 ye!
4For thusH3541 hath Jehovah saidH559 unto me: I will take my rest, and I will observe from my dwelling-place like clear heatH2527 upon herbs, like a cloudH5645 of dewH2919 in the heatH2527 of harvestH7105.
5For before the harvestH7105, when the blossoming is over, and the flower becometh a ripening grapeH1155, he shall both cutH3772 off the sprigs with pruning-knives, and take awayH5493 [and] cutH3772 down the branches.
6They shall be leftH5800 togetherH3162 unto the mountainH2022 birdsH5861 of preyH5861, and to the beasts of the earthH776; and the birdsH5861 of preyH5861 shall summer upon them, and all the beasts of the earthH776 shall winter upon them.
