Isaiah 16:6-12
We have heardH8085 of the arrogance of MoabH4124, — [he is] veryH3966 proud, — of his prideH1346, and his arrogance, and his wrathH5678: his pratings are vain.
ThereforeH3651 shall MoabH4124 howl for MoabH4124; every one of them shall howl. For the foundations of Kirhareseth shall ye mourn, verily afflicted.
For the fieldsH7709 of HeshbonH2809 languishH535, the vineH1612 of SibmahH7643; the lords of the nationsH1471 have broken down its choice plants: they reachedH5060 unto Jaazer, they wanderedH8582 [through] the wildernessH4057; its shoots stretched out, they wentH8582 beyond the seaH3220.
ThereforeH3651 I will weepH1058 with the weepingH1065 of Jaazer for the vineH1612 of SibmahH7643; with my tearsH1832 will I waterH7301 thee, HeshbonH2809, and ElealehH500, for a cry is fallenH5307 upon thy summerH7019 fruits and upon thy harvestH7105.
And joyH8057 and gladnessH8057 is taken away out of the fruitful field; and in the vineyardsH3754 there is no singing, neither is there shoutingH7321: the treaders treadH1869 out no wineH3196 in the presses, I have made the cryH7321 [of the winepressH3342] to ceaseH7673.
ThereforeH3651 my bowelsH4578 sound like a harpH3658 for MoabH4124, and mine inwardH7130 partsH4578 for Kirheres.
And it shall comeH935 to pass, when MoabH4124 shall appearH7200, shall wearyH3811 himself on the highH1116 placeH1116, and enter into his sanctuaryH4720 to prayH6419, that he shall not prevailH3201.
