Darby Bible
Isaiah 10:4-11
They can but crouch under the prisonersH616, and they shall fallH5307 under the slainH2026. For all this his angerH639 is not turnedH7725 awayH7725, and his handH3027 is stretchedH5186 out stillH5750.
Ah! the Assyrian! the rodH7626 of mine angerH639! and the staffH4294 in their handH3027 is mine indignationH2195.
I will sendH7971 him against a hypocritical nationH1471, and against the peopleH5971 of my wrathH5678 will I give him a charge; to take the spoilH7998, and to seize the preyH957, and to tread them down like the mire of the streetsH2351.
But he meaneth not soH3651, neither doth his heartH3824 think soH3651; for it is in his heartH3824 to extirpate and cutH3772 off nationsH1471 not a fewH4592.
For he saith, Are not my princesH8269 all kingsH4428?
Is not Calno as Karkemish? Is not HamathH2574 as ArpadH774? Is not SamariaH8111 as DamascusH1834?
As my handH3027 hath foundH4672 the kingdomsH4467 of the idolsH457, — and their graven images exceeded those of JerusalemH3389 and SamariaH8111,
— shall I not, as I have done unto SamariaH8111 and her idolsH457, soH3651 do to JerusalemH3389 and her images?
